  1. Very important, Radar Dogfight mode must be set to Search (default). Otherwise it doesnt drop
  2. Unfortunatly no, Ammo in bases are limited, same as airframes. You cant restock them. Ammo for UH1 is for ground units like SA13s, SA6s, HAWK, Bradleys etc.
  3. Only solution for me is to use Track IR bind to suspend Track IR operation (lights on "camera" go from green to orange/red)
  4. Whatever it is, it doesnt seem to be implemented in DCS. Multiple sparrows can guide on PSTT simultaneously
  5. These look like first versions, which were borderline unusable. Besides there was a lot of combat between F14A and F1s in Iran Iraq War, which seem to be perfect scenario for Cold War, too bad we dont have perfect map for it...

  7. yee, it was one of the most asked features iirc. Maybe some tweak in Jester logic that it IFF bandits from furthest first so last IFF bandit would be closest as interim solution?
  8. @tmansteve Hmm, some track file maybe? I did multiple carrier landings and tookoffs in multiplayer and I didn't really have much problems, sure sometimes plane seem more sluggish then normal, but it may have something to do with Supercarrier...

  10. Any chance adding Target Aspect angle for locked/hooked bandit? This info seem very important for Intercept Geometry and it seem weird that its missing... Do RIOs really calculated it in their head?
  11. I confirm, Path finding is way worse then it used too even moving on roads, units move like 100 m then stop dead. It really breaks CA

  14. Well, on that mission I often manage to PAL and TCS lock my missed AiM7 missiles so i guess it is possible?
  15. If only you could disable some features on F18 or F16 (HMD i am looking at you)... or even better, if we could get A versions of them...

    If you have human RIO, then RIO can mark specific target as Mandatory target, making it a priority for AWG9 for tracking
  18. Is it possible to modify weather in that mission? You can't see anything visually or in FLIR beyond like 10m

    Adjust NVG Brightness? Note its not like other modules where u simply hold the button, You have to spam press it, to increase brightness "levels"
  20. Personally I switched off Special Option Auto Jester switch from PDSTT to PSTT in WVR and I command him to do it manually or I relock with PAL. Thats where most of losing lock appears when coming closer than 20 nm. You do manoeuvres and Jester is losing lock when he tried to switch STT mode. Switching really only works when you fly steady and level, best when looking directly at bandit (pure pursuit). So I mapped Jester PDSTT to PSTT command as well so I decide when to switch.
  21. @Elunnia Unfortunately there is no HB Lantirn training mission, I made mission for myself in Mission Editor, just putting trucks on ground (dont forget to put waypoint on top of trucks, Lantirn can slew to waypoint location, just make sure waypoint altitude is same as truck elevation MSL) and spawn in air with Lantirn with bombs, and I learned LANTIRN myself from YT and HB manual. Icemen doesnt know how to do circles either, best you can do is disable Jester as pilot, activate Attitude hold while in bank (just turn on Autopilot with Bearing hold switch to off, you can switch altitude hold to keep altitude). Then switch to RIO, set bomb settings and autolase, find and designate target, switch to pilot, follow the coues on Lantirn, pickle and watch the fireworks. PS There is Pilot Lantirn mod, which allows you to control Lantirn from pilot seat, works pretty good, official recommendation from HB until Jester learn how to lase.

  23. Ye, whole ME weapons storage is buged now. On rearming panel weapons still show in stock even when its 0, or vice versa, weapon doesnt seem to be in stock even though you can load it from pre-set loadout. @Alpenwolf I did some tests for F14 missiles and as there are multiple choice of same missiles in ME (like 2 versions of AIM7F, or 2 versions of AIM7M), I found the ones you actually load on F14. For Aim54C its first position from list AIM7F its second, AIM7M is first AIM7MH is second Of course ED in their wisdom may change that in future...
