Any possibility for coop campaign? (Pilot+Rio) I tried with friend and if client (not host) is pilot then some of the scripts doesnt work (e.g. check in with awacs from other radio menu becomes stuck in loop of repeating message and then crashes the game)

all those modes are not implemented yet... MULT TGT allows you to marked radar contact as info that its actually more than 1 bogeys there, in case they are flying close to each other and on radar it shows as one target

If you got Track IR, then u can move around targeting reticle with your head from inside the tank, but this doesn't correspond with gun movement. you can look 90 to the side of gun with gun aiming point, and thats is making aiming impossible with track IR on. I have to suspend track IR to make it aligned again. Outside view works properly

I noticed the same thing. Shouldn't at least the warning lights appear after extinguisher is used that bottle pressure in them is low (as they are used)? Because thats not happening after pressing that button behind engine cut off handle

Maybe for special events @Alpenwolf should lock the server with password and only people who read the briefing at forum page can actually get a password at the end of post BTW there is iranian skin for F14, I would recommend installing it https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304408/ For example I was flying with it

Dose DLC need to be engage all the time during landing?

unless you landing on carrier, antiskid should be off, and you should go full power after touchdown anyway -
Just remember that in RL when over deck you shouldn't use DLC at all "to fall down" on deck. It would do too much stress on airframe

Considering that F14 was designed as fleet defence over open sea, where Russians lacked fighters with enough range, I think originally they thought any hostile contact would be probably a bomber..

Well, if you want to do it by the book, you have to pull handle out and move it to 68 degree position, wait for wing air bags to deflate (which seal the system, takes like 15 sec) and then you can move handle to oversweep. Second DCS way is to pull handle up, then down, then move it to oversweep and then pull up again. No need to wait for bags to deflate, wings would go to oversweep automatically after that Oh and make sure you didn't broke flaps with over speeding, obviously flaps need to be up for wings to work

@Alpenwolf It seems that only HB missiles are loadable by F14. In mission When mountains cry, even though AB is full of AIM7M, only 24 of Heatblures AIM7F are available for F14

Hmm for me, its everytime, never seen hot start without kneel down

It always happens if spawning hot, I think it has to do with spawning on cat (which happens rarely), where you need to be kneeled.

Chaff count cut short with some ALE-39 loadouts

I found the problem here. In configurations where Ale -39 has 30 flares or less, (40 flares 20chaff and up works fine), there is a moment where both ale-39 and LAU launchers deploy chaff at same time for 10 impulses, in effect launching 3 chaffs in same time (2 from LAU and 1 from ALE). ALE 39 launching one chaff per impulse thats correct LAU launching 2 chaffs per impulse thats correct Both LAU and ALE launching chaff per one impulse for 10 times - thats a bug, unless thats how it is in real aircraft Thats the reason why we end up 10 chaffs short. All testing was with 60 flares 140 chaff in rearming window, only ground crew ALE ratio changed BTW Jester still doesn't know how to change countermeasure loadout in CM program panel, so you always stuck with default 60 flares 40 chaff when flying with him. Is it possible to teach him how to do it? -
Its a weird bug, which I noticed during case III recovery, but it seem to appear in all scenarios. While AoA indexer brightness rotary works and changes AoA brightness, as soon you push gear lever down and AoA brightness is set below 5, then yellow and red lights disappear. Its quite annoying at case iii in night as I like to avoid bright lights near HUD Screenshots taken with LTS test, Gear up and Gear down, AoA brightness set to 4. As soon you increase to 5, all three lights appear again

While datalink need LoS from F14 to host, it does sometimes happen to me even when flying high at like 30k

After selecting slot in multiplayer and pressing fly, game crashes. It happens on multiple servers and not just for me

Personally throttle work is where secret lies. Especially that in f14 pitch changes slightly when power is applied. So what you want is microscopic throttle movements in F14B, as its engines are very powerful. A lot of practice is required. At beginning try this. Add throttle power and as soon you can see tanker get closer, go idle. When tanker stopped moving (same speed) add power, when tanker getting closer go idle. You are going to see how powerful engines are and how short amount of time you actually adding power (1sec or less) to start getting speed. After practice you will learn how small amount of throttle movement you actually need
