I had to build a new system after mine was wrecked post lightening strike. I had a 1080 TI card in the old one and built the new one with a 2080 TI RTX FTW3 card. My old system was an I7-7700k that was clocked to 4.7 Asus 1080ti SSD 32 gb 3200 ram... I ran the first gen Rift with settings pretty low to get decent smoothness and FPS. Screen door effect sucked and couldn't read crap... Updated my new system to an I9-9900 over clocked to 5.0 M.2 for game drive 64gb Ram 3200 2080 ti liked mentioned above. Now then in the rift I had maxed out everything to a point.. Not running ultra on my settings but a noticeable improvement across the board. Stutters at dusk on the LHA (with lights on) where gone. Yes it is an improvement but understand please my entire system got improved. Yes I could put water to high, etc... Also my system is pretty clean. I have gone through and have closed and turned off a lot of microsoft applications that run in the background. I shoot more for "smoothness" in game then FPS alone... Now.... I got the reverb in yesterday and WOW... its like looking at a high res monitor in 3d. I can easily read everything in the cockpit and there seems like there is little to no noticeable screen door effect... 10X better than the original rift. Kinda long winded post for the OP's question... Yes I think there is an improvement between the 2 cards, but you have to look at the system as well. Keeping things cleaned up and playing well with each other helps..

Really dont think its an issue of fangs out... this topic has been debated multiple times with actual maintainers stepping in and saying the version we are getting would require special plumbing for them (and its not there) and its not as simple as putting them on and filling them up. Plainly speak... US versions of this particular block jet DO NOT carry CFT's and ED is not going to model them..

Seriously Wags thank you and the rest of the development team for this module. I was hitting the "purchase now" button before the video was even over. Ignore the drama, you have a large fan base here rooting for ED's success...

I have seen many modules that have missed what I feel are the basic things... No need for the condescending attitude just for asking a basic question. If you feel you need to do that, please feel free to steer clear of my posts...

This would be my wish... Watching various videos of wing movement and LEF movement, particularly once weight is off the wheels on takeoff. This is the kinda stuff that would make this module awesome... (my opinion)

Like I said before 2019... I would be happy with the announcement sometime IN 2019 that they are going to do the Viper. So far my happiness is ahead of schedule..

Well it is the truth... I have seen it first hand as well. Hell I have had them reach out to me for some input so yes it has happened. I bet the main difference is I do not spend every waking moment trying to figure out how to rail on a company. I realize that I have purchased an EA and WIP module and I don't spend every waking moment on Discord, ED forums, or pick any other form of social media bashing the company I purchased a WIP mod from. I don't get butt hurt when someone does not respond instantly to my post. At the end of the day I realize ALL OF THESE THINGS and poof, I am talking with people and getting answers. Please, by all means, continue bashing the product and the DEV team and see how far that gets you...

Can we safely say that its time for the Viper to have its own section here on the ED forums? I know with the Discord groups guys are already talking squadrons that are being claimed and there is a pretty continuous conversation going on from tactics, the down and dirty of different models etc. Might be time to get the channel created and get posts organized... Just a thought.. .

Sounds like you are having issues with the parking break... or your throttle is not registering enough to go into throttle idle to function the detents. Throttle will not work with the break on... If you have the throttle foreword at all when you get into the jet the detent will not allow it to go into idle to start the jet unless you raise the detent lever and pull the throttle back a little bit more (if that makes sense). You need to get in the jet... look at the detent lever at the base of the throttle, click to raise it with the throttle all the way to idle.
