What VR setup do you have and settings? I do not have that issue with my setup..

not really sure if its a named maneuver. He basically got a low speed high AOA at first, then nosed down hard and used the jets ability to accelerate fast and get his nose back on him once he got some speed built up... Looks like the Mig 29 was AI and stupid since it just kept trying to remain in that circle instead of extending out and reseting the fight..

Doubt it will be official, you can get it though as a download submitted by users... I have it, looks great in game.

Pretty sure this is a question that only the individual can answer.. I am sure the FM will not change "too" much... Could be wrong though... That said it still offers plenty to do and the learning will continue, or at least should long after its considered full release.. I would much rather learn along the way instead of playing a large amount of catch up at then end.... YMMV..

There maybe be some improvements. I sill think its user hardware and setup specific. I have had these conversations with people about performance here on the forums, Facebook, and Discord. A lot of them are having issues on older systems, they have not cleared their caches over several updates, or they have yet to tweak and optimize windows. Like the MFD readability debate. People have benched this jet because they can not read the MFD's, others have no problem. So who is at fault for that? ED or the end users setup and ability/willingness to improve their system?

Yep... with proper setup on the ground you can pretty much go Master arm on and then whatever submode and you really are not fooling with OSB buttons after that...

Just program that on the ground... go to missile override and set up one of the blank OSB buttons to HSD... Once you do that go back to NAV mode, etc... now when you select missile override it will bring up the HSD... Also... you can DMS right or left and cycle through custom pages that you setup.... You can do this for all modes and on all MFD's

Not really... I look at my HSD and if I want to zoom in and look closer at it I just press the zoom key... not sure why you would want to add another zoom feature on top of it since there is one already???

There is a pretty distinct noise in the jet when the thing goes into gates...

I have my zoom key bound... both the regular and the extended for VR use... both are bound to my HOTAS... Maybe I am not sure what you are asking??

you have a zoom key... look at the HSD and zoom in... as far as loosing it in different AA sub modes.. You can configure your MFD's to add the HSD in any mode you are in. If you go into missile override mode click on one of the blank OSB"s on the bottom of the mfd... the menu will pop up of different pages you can select... Select HSD and now you can tab to it as an option.

Do you have one waypoint entered.... Its a bug that you have to have at least one entered and you have to have that waypoint selected..

Yeah this entire the jet handles like crap out of the box mentality is non productive. I have yet to have one DSC module that I did not have to adjust my rates or curves on. Every jet handles different and my setup has to be adjusted for it. Its just part of life. I have the FSSB as well and can tell you after I have spent sometime making adjustment in the FSSB software the Viper handles the way I imagine it would. I can fly form with it by fingertip and its roll and pitch authority is spot on. You have to spend sometime with these modules and get them dialed in. Each jet is going to be different, and each physical joystick is going to be different on what rates and throws it introduces..

according to a budy of mine who flies this jet he loevs the ones that have the cover.... guess YMMV

Yep it is in the proper place. Its been asked about several times now and ED has addressed it. People get snarky because we see the same posts over and over. Perhaps asked slightly different, but the general question is there though. I get having it on top of the pile but others will have different priorities. At the end of the day though ED is going to build it in a way that they see fit. I am cool with that. We have a Viper in a modern flight simulator and for the most part in its current state its pretty bad ass. EA is just that. We all know that means things are going to change over the next few years with this thing..

Well since you are new here, let me help you some... They are going to fix this module in the order they see fit. I am sure that they will take complaints/suggestions from the peanut gallery into consideration. That said, they have posted that the FM is a WIP and that it will be addressed. Asking to have it fixed in the next update that has already been built and features have been listed is not going to happen... Could be wrong, doubt it though...

EA means early access.... Being new to a forum I would suggest the search option... Chances are it has been posted before.. People do get snarky because its starting to be the same questions over and over again, its common forum etiquette across the internet.
