Since Waggs has mentioned that this cockpit will be optimized for VR I am sure it will come down to your VR headset. CV-1 Rift might not be able to read anything without zooming in (like the current jets) A reverb, I bet its going to be just fine.. Also take into consideration the pilot view perspective can be be changed and will be different based on each user..

For me the card jump was worth it. Going from a 1080ti to a 2080ti FTW3 was a noticeable change. Even in the CV1 rift. Now then I think each of us has our own "is it worth it" price. yes you will 100% see an improvement. Is it worth that cost to you? That's the bigger question that only you can answer..

Also I have a message into rel4y for the throttle POT.. its spiking all over the place and will not hold a value... thanks..

I was unfortunate enough to have my house hit by lightening a few months ago. Fortunately I have an awesome insurance agent who took care of things including funds for a new rig. Thats the only reason I can drive the reverb and decent rates and settings. I think with continued support through WMR, Steam, and ED things are going to get better across the board for all VR users..

Going from a CV-1 to the reverb is complete game changer. The ability to read instruments without zooming, to be able to spot aircraft and actually see them. I can't describe it other then it feels like you are looking at a 3d 4k monitor in each eye.

At first I was like WTH? Then I remembered while touring a Fire apparatus manufacturing plant looking at one of our engines before delivery we found a neighboring city had a truck on the build line. Lets just say there are several of our company stickers placed in various hidden spots on that truck..

When you talk about smaller fuel tanks are you sure you're not confusing them with the pilots personal travel pod that they will stow under a wing?

Also to add... with the original rift my GPU was maxed out with no overhead... new 2080 ti with pretty high settings, the new GPU was only at 60%.(original rift).. plenty overhead left... have not looked to see what its doing on the new card as of yet with the reverb.. I also pretty much only do MP as well..
