  1. I think I've explored every avenue to select unlimited fuel for the Yak but she sputters to a halt just as we're getting into the swing of a formation routine. Have I missed something? (more than likely) or is it not possible on her?
  2. It has put me off using it until it's fixed. :glare:
  3. So what do you reckon to VR then? Be honest, do you like it?
  4. The latest update for the CEII has improved the engine startup sounds for sure, but it has introduced an irritating sound of a man sawing wood. Furthermore it just keeps on. There seems to be no correlation to what the aircraft is doing. Anyone else got this? Maybe it's just in my head.
  5. Well done. That should put this thread to bed. Now all it needs is to be stickied.
  6. How did I miss that? Cheers.
  7. Actually, if you close the cmd window it shuts down DCS.
  8. Weird one this. Since the latest update+Christen Eagle, there has appeared on my desktop the DCS_updater.exe cmd window on my desktop whenever DCS is firing up. Prior to the update DCS simply started and I presume the cmd function carried on in the background. There doesn't seem to be any other symptoms in the game. Any clues anyone?
  9. Me too. Shame, I used ti like the 'reticence' of the engine. Will it? Won't it?
  10. But they were NEVER there. Not until there was a profile as per your directions! Simple question: Are smoke options in the loadout by default?
  11. If it were that easy! Are you saying that the smoke option is there by default? If so, I, and a friend, weren't issued with it. Thus having to make a profile.
  12. Ahah! :) Amazing, the stuff you learn.
  13. Yeeeeesss! Cracked it! Thanks a huge bunch. It's been driving me mad. Simple...When you know how. A bit like brain surgery. :smilewink:
  14. Well, success...Up to a point. I did as instructed and have a list of Red, White and blue smokes. Unlike your example there is no little coloured icons in the centre column. Neither does the list show up in MP. What did I miss? :helpsmilie:
  15. A knight in shining armour! I am getting to grips with the Mission Editor. Can this procedure work as I am building an online server mission? i.e. with a Yak placed on a parking spot? I did get as far as 'New Payload' but just looked at it...:music_whistling: I suppose I'll have to do this for every individual aircraft I add. I'll be back. Thanks VERY much for responding.
  16. But HOW do you DO that? Please, give me a clue as to where to start looking. :(
  17. That's easy for you to say! I've read through the 'Manual' and nowhere could I find anything about 'Making a new Stores Profile' How do I get to join this secret society that knows all this stuff? My head hurts! The second part of your answer I understood completely. A start eh?
  18. I could have written that myself. :)
  19. I've come to the conclusion, that most of you will already reached, that the easiest way of tackling this is to delete ALL assignments (except keyboard) and just assign what you need.:music_whistling:
  20. Great. That stops me from having delve any deeper into Crosswind software.
  21. Not sure how to title this thread  I have several controllers attached to my machine because I use a couple sims. For DCS only the Warthog is used. My question is, is it possible to make DCS ignore some of them, i.e the CH yoke and CH throttles? Other than unplugging them, which would be a PITA. My other question concerns my Crosswind pedals. Every new plane I get comes with phantom buttons assigned to the pedals. I don't really expect an answer to this, but it was worth a shot. Cheers, Ron
  22. More commonly known as Brussels
  23. My thoughts exactly. I'll just resign myself to thinking I've nicked a military version.
  24. Got it. Thanks
