correct as is Some gun rounds in burst going hundreds of metres off target
imacken replied to imacken's topic in Bugs and Problems
You think? Maybe, but if you try it on the grass at the side of the runway, you get the same effect. Ricochets unlikely in grass. -

Thanks guys, but I’m afraid you are not talking about the issue I have raised. There is nothing in the video above on the same topic. No one has even looked at my track - no download - so I’m not sure how there can be relevant comments. This is not about general gun issues. -

This is on level ground and is some form of bug. Repeatable in that mission every time. Not the same in other similar scenarios. -

Looking into this a bit more, it seems to be only in that Instant Action Runway Start Marianas mission. Others I’ve tried tonight seem to be ok and not show that issue. -
I think we're getting OT here, but but this is a great set of docs for the kneeboard. AH-64D Kneeboards by AKA_Relent (ED forums: 609_Relentov) (digitalcombatsimulator.com) Thanks to AKA_Relent for that. I've attached the George summary from that set. Incredibly useful. Just drop it into the Apache kneeboard folder.

Nice one!

He means the Guns Training Mission. See the linked thread.

We went through all that already, didn't we?

There will be a full set, I'm sure. It's very early in EA and only a few very basic ones have been published so far. Look at the Viper, a couple of years on and still a big gap to be filled with 2-6, 11-14 and 17-25 published so far. It is frustrating, but understandable that the TMs take some time when the aircraft are missing features in EA, and it is expensive to have to redo them at a later date. There are examples of devs doing TMs early and then they don't get updated when new/changed features come along. This just adds frustration for the user.

I don't think it's supposed to have the 'DCS.Openbeta' in the SavedGamesPath. here is mine which works perfectly well.

The funny thing is, that it works OK for me, Apache aside, of course.

Has ED said anything at all about integrating Tobii in DCS?

Important issue in this week's 4 new Training Missions
imacken replied to imacken's topic in Missions and Campaigns
Yep, disappointing really. It seems that once TMs are 'done', then they are VERY rarely updated. As I said above, it's a pity as they are a valuable tool for users to learn their newly acquired module. -
Have you watched his tracks? I guess not as there has only been one download, and that was me!

The pilot one worked OK for me when I took control. It must be the trigger guard, despite the fact you say you have it open. Check the bind.

It’s not difficult to translate pages these days, so I don’t see that as an excuse. Still, I guess this has become a pointless discussion. We continue to live with 2 year old issues, with apparently no indication of them being even scheduled to be fixed.
-
I’m kind of surprised their there is not some contractual obligation to fix bugs within a reasonable time frame.

OK, thanks. I know BN has nudged the team some time ago, but what do we have to do to get the '5 minute job' done on getting the Kneeboard folder recognised in this map? Been, what, 2 years now?

I just wonder if there is any point in anyone posting to this sub-forum. Has anyone seen any response from Ugra here? Just curious.

TrackIR 5 and Tobii Eye Tracker 5 comparison
imacken replied to SageNTitled's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I'm curious that you like Tobii so much. I really want to like it, but I sent mine back after a few days, mainly because of the image jumping around when looking at cockpit dials etc. compared to TrackIR. Did you not see that issue at all? It is demonstrated well in the video in the first post around 6'40!
