  1. Does the 1st detent do anything? AFAICS, pressing and releasing the 2nd detent does the same thing. No? It would be useful to save a bind if it doesn't add anything.
  2. You just select the other type. Not at my PC and can’t remember what it’s called!
  3. Not sure what you mean, but the Comms Menu is purely for ground communications. You need to use PTT RADIO in the air. Same as all modules I can think of.
  4. Regarding 3), that is correct behaviour. You have to use PTT RADIO command in the air.
  5. In VR, if I look up with the HDU on so that the rotor blades movement are seen, then all the numbers and lines on the HDU display become distorted and sort of swirly. This is very similar to the issue we had some time ago with the propeller in the Spitfire. This only happens when Vive Motion Compensation (Vive's equivalent to Motion Smoothing in SteamVR) is switched on. It's OK with it off.
  6. Sorry to repeat myself, but this is a bug. It's been fixed internally as NL has said here
  7. Thanks Stuart. i remember now! Sorry about late reply, but i was trying a few things out. All good now, cheers.
  8. Guys, there is at least one other thread on this already and BN has said it has been fixed internally. It missed the cut in this week’s patch.
  9. Yep, working for me. I don't understand your file path though. It's not in Saved Games, unless you've installed DCS in Saved Games. My path is 'E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\MarianaIslands\Kneeboard'
  10. Thanks, yes, I've seen that, but does that make a permanent save for a particular module?
  11. I'm sure this has been asked before, but how I change the starting head position in VR in a particular module? In the Apache, I am almost in the MFDs! I need to move it back. Thanks.

    Trim Reset

  13. Just in case you'd missed it.
  14. As I have said many times, all that is needed is a ghost of where the physical lever is and adjust to that before taking control.
  15. As I said, it is a fraction of a second to get the stick into a central position either by briefly letting go (without a rollercoaster performance) in a controlled manner, or simply moving into that position. Having a dead zone helps with the problem you are having your hands on the control. Honestly, this is really not as hard as you are making out. It becomes second nature after a while.
  16. But, the red and white symbols are still there, and doing the same function as they did before! It's just that there is now an extra green set.
  17. Sorry, but I don't have the issue you describe. With the centralised option, it's easy to take control, you just trim and release then immediately allow your stick/pedal to recentre. then you have control. It takes a fraction of a second. I don't see why you would be 'having trouble finding the centre'.
  18. Sure, I can see it stabilises , but the second I try to refine the position, it's off again, unlike experiences on jets.
  19. What do you mean by 'inability to gain control of the central mode'?
  20. So, it's not a kind of ground stabilising function then?
  21. I'm not suggesting it shouldn't be there, and it's great that people who want it have got it! I just would like to know how people would use it with the centralising option. I'm curious.
  22. Ah OK, well in that case it is definitely a bug as the RTS rocker doesn't function if Presets are displayed.. Hopefully BN will pick up on this.
  23. I'd like to know this too.
  24. Pretty sure the steps are wrong in the manual, or its a bug. P233 says 6. press preset, 7. use RTS rocker to select radio, 8. use WCA to select frequency. However, the RTS rocker does not function once preset is selected, so I think the sequence should be 7, 6 and 8.
