  1. I have an X52 that's about 3 years old, it still works as good as when I first got it; don't have any dead zones at all.
  2. Probably the best way at the moment is to use the ministick. Set it in to bands of about 0%-40%, 40%-60%, 60%-100% on each axis and assign to Shkval skew. Diagonal skewing works fine on that.
  3. I downloaded it from this mirror: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=24&file=1003
  4. Yep, you can. This is exactly what I've done, most controls I've set up in-game, the odd few (such as this ministick Shkval skew, which works great) in the SST software. Of course you've gotta make sure there are no conflicts, eg I use the pinkie switch as a modifier in-game so I set it to a button in the SST software and make sure it's not used.
  5. Thanks. I got it installed with modman just fine (first time I've used that), and it looks absolutely stunning.
  6. Well that looks just fantastic. Thanks a lot, great work!
  7. Where are you clicking? Be sure to not just click on the cyclic action in the first column, but on the relevant assignment in the Saitek X52 column, eg. JOY Z or whatever. The Axis Tune button should then light up.

  9. Hehe, nice video! Be sure to make some more! :)
  10. I agree that it would be a nice option to be able to start the missions from cold and dark.
  11. Hi GunnDawg, The engine RPM gauge is actually displayed in x10%, so you should find the RPM pretty quickly gets to 18% when you start turning over the engine. There's a needle for each turbine. Hope that helps.
  12. Taking my first flight of four high in to the mountains "On the other side". These campaign missions are so much fun. I enjoyed flying through the mountains before the big attack, although I ended up getting shot down a bit later; stupidly strayed too close to some kind of SAM launcher.
  13. Get ready to be happy: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=589600&postcount=46
  14. Hear hear! Without a doubt the best simulator I've ever played. I'm astounded at how much the bar has just been raised.
  15. PMed you.
  16. Wow! Congrats on the release! What a nice surprise to have it come out before christmas. I'm buying it right away.
  17. Yeah the webpage says SetAffinityII supports up to four cores. However there's another program on his webpage that says supports up to eight, PriFinitty: http://www.geocities.com/edgemeal_software/SetAffinity/index.htm Perhaps that will work for you.
  18. I tried it too, got a significant performance increase, Vista64. So I downloaded the SetAffinityII program, works perfectly.
  19. I'll also be purchasing both versions. I've gotta agree, I've been using flight sims for about 20 years and this is one of the greatest I've played, and that's pretty much enough said. It's truly brilliant, much thanks to all the developers.
  20. You don't need to translate anything to register, you can register on the English site, log in, go over to Russian and purchase from there. Instructions with handy screenshots to show you where to click are in this useful thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=33633
  21. Great fun, this, thanks a lot. These user-made missions are really appreciated while I wait for the English-language release. Heh, I also just got lost in clouds. Damn scary! Visibility went down to just a few meters, and I was fighting to get her to the next waypoint, relying on my attitude indication and radar altimeter, hoping to get over the mountain and in to a nice clear valley. Didn't happen, suddenly there was a loud bang and all I could see out of my right window was soil. My wingman survived though, ejected after he got his tail blown off by that pesky fella with a SAM launcher :D I love this sim.
