If your airspeed is 0 you will have absolutely no control response, given then complete absence of air moving over any part of the aircraft. You need to start inputting a touch of rudder before you hit stall speed (at around 90mph indicated) in order to get the nose to tip slightly off the vertical BEFORE you stall. Then, once stalled, gravity will pull the nose down toward the ground, rotating the nose over the CoG of the aircraft. Also, go right, not left. You will find it much easier.

I see this repeatedly in our server's log file. Server is running on Normandy map. Requests for portable lights seem to be a bit of a topic recently, again. Any chance this request might be given some consideration for the WW2 assets pack?

I have previously requested Bartow lights. This is a more suitable fixture in my opinion. It also does not create smoke, which would be a silly idea on an airfield. https://intrepid-design.co.uk/ww2-runway-light/ Or this: -

So we're forced to use this "possible" edge case every time? This is bonkers. Take a look at a sample of winds aloft records. A 20kt to 41kt change from 0 to 1600ft altitude is exceedingly rare. Yet we are forced to adopt this curve in every single mission. In DCS, as it is currently, it is impossible for the 1600ft wind to be anything other than 41kts if the sea-level wind is set to 20 kts. Sure, there are places and days in real life when this is the case. But suggesting that it is the case 100% of the time is empirically false - and this is what the ME does currently.

Can The forced wind-speed curve be significantly toned down plase? If I want a 20kts surface wind, the ME forces me to accept 45 Knots at 1600ft. This is madness. I understand the need for a smooth transition in wind-speeds, but forcing a more-than-doubling of wind speed over 1600ft of altitude is incredibly restrictive.

Do they have to be in the same "group" as the search lights? Do they have to be within a certain distance to the other units?

Here are two no-bounce wheel landings I just scraped together with about 10 minutes practice, in the Spitfire and 109. Took me 3 attempts to get it right in the spitfire (which I have not flown for ages) and 2 attempts in the 109 (which I fly quite a bit at the moment). It would be even easier with: 1. more headwind - this is set to just 2m/s 2. lighter aircraft with less fuel and ammo Wheel landings are safer in combat too, having the extra power on (and air/ ground speed) when landing makes it easier to go around - which might be necessary if the base is under threat.
