your best friend is the trimmer button and auto hover in in order to not to worry about the heli flying. ;-)

One thing : 50. NAV Master Mode -> route I can't dial "route", i got 5-6 other options like test, sim, oper, KB-1/KB-2 (or somehing). It seems like it gotta be on "oper" or else I can't dial in anything in the waypoint panel.

I use the thumb rotary for wheel brakes, the slider for zooming (TIR4) and the "big" rotary wheel on top of throttle quadrant as throttle, though I never use it.

i was just going to say the exact same thing. This feature in Falcon 4 is very nice.

Very, very strange now all of a sudden it works!! The only thing I did was disabling SLI so I could run in full screen (which crashed my system) and now everything is honkey dorey!! :D I'm a very happy desktop pilot atm!!!

Ok, I've investigating a bit further. It has nothing to do with Track IR, but with enabling SLI or not. When SLI is enabled, and fullscreen is enabled, my whole computer freeze when I hover any of the buttons in the menu.

When I enable fullscreen and have my trackir on, my computer freeze in the second i hover any of the buttons in the menu, and it doesnt create any crash file. The only way to get out of it is to turn off the power of my computer. Ctrl+Alt+Del wont work If I don't use trackIR fullscreen works fine (which is kinda OK in a freeky way right now, since my trackir don't work either, check my other thread). But please note : it doesnt freeze until I hover any button.

it tracks my head just fine when i use the tracking option in track ir :(

I've searched and read post regarding this issue but nothing has helped me. The blue led on my TIR lights up, and TrackIR recognizes the Black Shark is running. Still nothing happens when I pan my head in game. I've searched through all my PDF's and Track IR isn't mentioned one single time. Am I suppsoed to enable track ir under the options or something? I can also see the TrackIr column under the Axis-section

Due to my lack of time nowadays, I can't guarantee anything, but I will at least give it a shot if you guys want me to. I totaly agree with Rapid. A distribution via Steam would be great. It's convenient and user friendly, and it also eliminates some piracy issues.

THE most stupid suggestion I've ever heard..

I dare to say that DCS is the most realistic combat flight simulator that is available for the public, so it should cost a lot more than the average crap games that i.e EA releases every month. This is a high quality product which deserves to be priced accordingly. Lets say the price was twice the amount of a standard game; it wouldn't scare off any "hardcore" flight simmer, but maybe some casual players. But to be honest : I don't think the casual gamer will buy this game.

I'm gonna buy both versions, then I might even learn some Russian until the release of the English version.

even though I know I will spend 90% of my virtual pilot time in choppers, I will definitely buy every flyable ED releases. In Lock-On 1.2, the fun plane to fly is the SU-25 due to the extremely realistic behaviour.

I believe the poster is aware of those points, but a KA-52 helicopter can't do troop insertions nor SAR. (Well, it can do the search part though.. :))

jeez, it's an in-game movie, which looks kind of finnished. What in this movie do not look like it's finnished? But my all means, I didn't start this stupid thread, I was only replying to a post where a guy stated that from the look of the last movies, the game looks almost done and ready to be shipped, and I replied that you could almost say the same thing 4 years ago. And, I have waited patiently for 4 years, and can gladly wait 4 more years if thats the case. :pilotfly:
