Same here, getting inconsistent contacts if any. Tried the instant cold and dark mission (I modified the mission to have the FCR dome) at Nellis and targets are roughly 6km away, no contact on radar screen. Tried to fire up the radar with the bit test and without. Sometimes the targets appear around 4km, sometimes at 6.5km and sometimes nothing even thought I’m hovering in the wide wide open, no obstruction or anything nearby. Tried the manual tilt and auto tilt function.

I’m looking for help. I’m using a G2 at 100% resolution and at bright underground’s, let’s say Nellis at Noon, the edges of the cockpit frames are flickering (F16 and F15E), but only on ground during taxi. As soon as I’m airborne all is good, but on ground you see the canopy rails flickering when passing by bright ground. I don’t know how to further describe this issue. Is there any change in my Nvidia control panel I can do to get rid of this? Specs: RTX4090, i913900k,64GB ddr5, win11. DCS Multithreaded settings: anisotropic filtering at 16x, MSAA 2x, the rest is at medium to high. openXR is used with best frame setting option selected. cheers

As the title says, I would like to vote for a louder start up/JFS sound. If there is a chance to increase the volume within a specific file, please let me know and I’m good with it, otherwise this would be my wish. cheers

So, I tried the instant AH64 Nevada mission, there are some open targets at waypoint 7, no obstruction in the way or masked by anything. Two Lima’s were fired for this test, the first one was hitting the target, well actually it was not hitting the target itself but a few meters abeam from it and as this was a soft target, the target was damaged from the explosion…..don’t know if you would count that as a hit. The second missile has gone off as in my previous track.

Sorry for the long track, I just wanted to make sure that I don’t make any mistake during start up which causes this issue with the Lima’s. I’ll give it a try in the open dessert and see if they can hit the target there.

I’m having a Gunfighter MK III with the MCG Pro and a 200mm extension. Now I’ve read on the VKB North America website that the MK IV base will not be compatible with the current 200mm extension. If I want to upgrade my MK III to a MK IV with the announced upgrade kit, I need to purchase the 200mm extension again? Do I get this right? On the website there is no such extension to buy, only the one for the MK III, can someone from VKB confirm that there will be a chance to buy the extension separately? cheers

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but the L Hellfires are not hitting their target, not even close. I’ve build an own shooting range mission and the Apache is loaded with two K’s and two L’s. George lases the target and everything he is supposed to do (I guess) but after firing the Lima, it is hitting far far far away from the target. The Kilo’s are fine, just the Lima’s are making me trouble. I’m not sure if it’s me who does something wrong or is there something broken with George or the laser hellfire? I knew that there was an issue some time ago but I thought this was fixed. so any suggestions from you guys is much appreciated. cheers

I’m about to preorder the F15EX grip with the Orion2 base. Does anyone of you know if the fingerlifts can work as button? I mean, related to the Strike eagle module where you lift the fingerlift to get the JFS going on that respective engine. Haven’t found anything on winwings product page or similar if they can be used as a button press. thanks in advance

I’ve read the manual and watched Casmo’s as well as Notso’s video about designation. I’m in AG Master mode and the pod is up on the left MPD and SOI. Now I’m pressing castle switch down and then forward, the HUD is now in command. I’m doing this again, as mentioned in the videos but nothing happens, the TPOD is not slaved to my HUD reticle. What I’m doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. cheers

Looking good. Now my question is, do the stores have the correct drag or is it also fine tuned?! I mean, in this video he is using a slick viper and it would be counterproductive if we’ll get a fine tuned FM but the drag of any store on the jet is degrading this due it’s fault drag index. So, does anyone know from the past if the drag index for all weapons, tanks etc. have been correctly modeled?
