  1. You already can fire them immediately after they lock onto a target. That is even faster.
  2. RK4 sounds interesting, everything that will keep our bird in working condidtion is a good thing. But I already chose the correct Lysbomb pattern because the Final Mission of the NTTR campaign will require them.
  3. Mission 6 has waypoint 5 declared as M5 on the Lineup Card, but it should be B5 and M6. Also the Mision Briefing tells you to set TID to M0.84 on B4 instead of B5.
  4. Will there be an update to allow the Sea Eagle to be targeted at a spot determined before take-off but without access to the mission editor? DCS in multiplayer has no mission planning tool, the Viggen's ASW can be programmed via the CK37 or by external cartridge generation. As I understand the Aviojet has no mission cartridge. But the Viggen can also load F10 map Markpoints to be programmed into the weapons on startup. If the Sea Eagle never had an opportunity mode I'm against implementing that, but I would be interested if it would be possible to program them on the ground, either via kneeboard or even more comfortable via F10 markpoints?
  5. Even with a spot on hit, I wouldn't expect anything major to happen to those T-90 tanks because of the poor anti-tank damage of the BK90s. But even then, a bunker should be completely unaffected as long as it's not hit by something big or specifically designed for bunker-busting.
  6. At least half of the, very short, start up time is specific mission and weapon setup. I really understand auto start being such a low developer priority. The suggestion to just demo it with a running plane makes sense. I would even suggest an airstart depending on the person trying. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  7. Has your spawning spot been nuked recently? You can always first deinstall mods and perform a cleanup and repair. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  8. I don't see a D variant bringing anything new to the table gameplay wise. That development time could also be spent on an Aardvark, Tornado IDS or Intruder. Those would be the first two-seater ground attackers in DCS. As much as I would think a Jaktviggen would be fun, it would pretty much just replace the AJS sales. Instead a Draken or early Gripen would make more sense marketing wise.
  9. Try it out. It will light up the red launch warning light, but it still works if you allow the BK90s a nice glide path to the target.
  10. Did you check wind in the CK37? Some time ago I have seen it being different as in the mission briefing or what the keyboard attack marker cartridge will Display. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  11. I'd prefer if they pull a Belsimtek and just announce an almost done module for pre-order and imminent release, instead of those super long hype periods. Also to give the Viggen a final good polish and squash those last bugs. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  12. The Huey and Hip are basically a single player slot airframe with switchable seat positions. No other player can join them. Not as navigator and not even something simple like a door gunner. Belsimtek are having trouble getting multicrew to work in those modules. The Gazelle has separate player cockpits that can't be switched as does the L-39. Instead of using your time and resources to try to make the developers spend their time and resources to do something that the game engine at this time simply does not allow, play with a buddy. I hope multicrew will get more and better support by ED in the future as they will need it for their upcoming Hind. That might even bring their long promised multicrew to their existing helicopters. But until then, play what is possible right now. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  13. Your question has been answered already. This is how it works within the DCS World engine. If there are two player slots for a single aircraft, once you choose a seat in multiplayer mode, you can't switch around like you can in single player mode. Heatblur already did some miracles with getting the two cockpits working together like they do now. I really think it is unreasonable to ask them make a One Person Tomcat for multiplayer. It's multiplayer, by definition you are already more than one person playing. You can now fly a Tomcat. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  14. Got a package today with two shirts. The blue one is fine. But the grey Felix one looks like one of the misprints. Felix is printed a bit small. I'll hope this is a misprint and the proper Felix shirt was sent out separately because of some postage trickery. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  15. I agree and would even say that the Viggen is not a SEAD platform at all. It has no weapons that can surpress (SEAD) hostile radars long enough for any worthwhile window of opportunity for other flights. But I think every air-to-ground capable plane is somewhat capable of destroying (DEAD) an actual SAM site. It get's easier if the site is being surpressed during the attack or otherwise occupied (eg. Wild Weasel). And those roles the Viggen can fill pretty ok. It has several ways to stand-off and/or cluster attack a site and the high speed, good RWR and big fuel tank help with the wild weasel role. MERAD can be defeated pretty good by a wall of Mavericks to oversaturate their defensive fire. SEAD and DEAD are taskings best done as a team. Also if the actual tasking is a strike on a high value target, you can and should just ignore most SAM. You don't have to peel the air defenses first before going for the throat. Thus the real pain are modern SHORAD like Tunguska and Tor placed to defend the target. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  16. F10 map syntax needs capital letters. Also, this might have to do with this bug, you have to set up all BX6 to BX9. Only then it worked for us. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
  17. Being able to set your aircraft number without having to make an extra texture to just change the tail number.
  18. You want to turn on the generator too, so the engine can produce electricity for the plane. It's the switch right of the starter switch.
  19. Same here. First thought it was the server or a takeoff event. But other airframes on that server worked fine. When I took my time with spooling up it crashed during start-up, when I rushed I managed to fly very shortly before crashing to desktop.
  20. Did you put the weapon safety back down? Radar is used for ranging in a lot of ANF modes, then it should show no picture on the display.
  21. There is a safety on the throttle, click that to put your engine into idle or back into cutoff. The Viggen does not use a detent&engine start mechanism like the A-10C. I can't think of any situation ever, where you will have to shut off your engines with the hands remaining on throttle and stick. Just click the safety. Most of the switches on the TM Warthog don't give a signal for both up and down. Only up is a button press, down is the release of that same button. In the A-10C module they accounted for that suboptimal behaviour in the button mapping. The simulator looks all the time if a button is still held or if it is released to determine a switch position. You can mod this behaviour into the game files. Somebody already did that and shared the .lua in some other thread.
  22. I always understood that you would have to manually set or correct the fuel gauge according to load out. The gauge then only works as a countdown of the fuel that passed through the fuel pump not as an fuel tank sensor. This is would explain for me why a leaking tank will not be shown on the gauge.
  23. Did you forget the Inverter Switch by chance?
  24. Map is looking very nice. Mechanized Infantry was quite important in WWII. Will we be able to embark and disembark infantry from trucks, jeeps, trains and ships? That will give the players a better reason to interdict convois and trains or prevent an sea invasion. Will the trees and orchards be collidable and do they provide cover or screening from AI ground units? This would make the map a dream map for helicopter pilots. Thank you!
