Did you insert the cartridge before loading it per 9099? It's the slot over your left shoulder.

I also sometimes see a very heavy moire effect in the EP13, using a Rift S. I think it happens more often when it is dusk or night time. This is one of the more annoying graphics bugs in the Viggen. When it happens it's probably for the best to abandon the sight and switch to boresight and HUD.

It is not the QFE, it is the wrong release pattern (vertical tower instead of horizontal plane), that is the problem. This problem must be super-duper low on Heatblur's priority list because it exists since like forever and has been reported almost as long. It was probably an easier fix to put in NVG instead.

The self destruction when the shooting plane dies is due to a limitation in the DCS engine and how the Rb-15 a created by the game. My advice is to not die.

Instead of modding, have you tried the dial 16 on page 22 of the manual?

This again?! Wasn't everything already said on the German forum? Let them do the right thing. Let Razbam finish up the already released and paid for modules. You can complain all you want after they sold you the Strike Eagle and it didn't meet your expectations. But complaining because you don't have something, you haven't paid for, is really wasted energy. Please use that energy to do some actual flying with any of the numerous modules at your disposal. You might even have fun.

AI wingmen can't even survive contour flying, I believe they would be overburdened with landing on a street anyway.

Wenn es keinen absolut dringenden Grund gibt die Stable zu behalten (gibt es keinen), kannst du per dsc_updater.exe ganz einfach zwischen Stable und Open Beta sowie zwischen den Versionen wechseln. Musst dafür nichts vorher deinstallieren

They would lose a lot of goodwill and credibility if they would start to sell another module when they still have to finish up the Viggen and still have a bit work for the Tomcat. Heatblur usually stays quiet until they have something to show or even better, for us to experience ourselves. I'm sure they are the ones who want to show something new the most, but everything at it's own time.

Is the vertical drop pattern a recognized bug? Would be really cool to see that fixed for multiplayer night operations.

Maybe the real pilots were taught to not change their delivery method mid-attack run? The plane will also bring the gear up on short final, even though that will probably mess up the landing. Some things just have to be done as designed to get a desired results.

There is a reason all the rockets are released at once when you don't use the "training rocket" mode. Saturate the target area in explosions. QFE is helpful, but rockets and cannons use radar ranging as indicated by the fin in the HUD. Gentle dive is not what you want, roll onto the target from an offset. Dive with enough angle to start the ranging computation. Keep exposure time low.

I'm hoping a little bit that ED is taking so long for the F-16 mavericks because they are finally giving MAvericks a proper contrast lock on and guidance (which people will hate then). The funny behaviour of them doing little loopings over a destroyed ground target is not messing up other players enjoyment. But an "air-to-air missile" that just turns around without energy loss after being avoided to hunt down the target is just not ok when a player is on the receiving end.

The way the flare just disappears is pretty ridicilous. The weapon is difficult to use, but this is just playing lottery.

Yes, this is how it works. Otherwise a flight lead couldn't create a plan for his flight without messing around with file sharing. You could alternatively use the "ATTACK" mark to generate your flightplan if it is not in use yet. Otherwise coordinate with the other Viggen pilots on the server. It's probably a good habit to delete your own markpoints that you don't need anymore.

Happens to me too. Regardless of which songs are in the playlist. Currently the Viggen has the fastest way to close DCS with the simple push of the the "Play" button.
