Does anybody here has the "Scan distance 400" command not working in the F14 ? Jester receive the command but does not change the display settings. (the others scan distances, 50,100,200 are working well). Thanks ! :)

Hello there ! I tried it today and loved it (except for the manual radio settings part, that is a nightmare for a french :D ). I have some troubles with the RIO not doing anything when I ask him for scan range 400 too, he says OK but do not change the radar settings. Am I the only one ? Should I change something ? Thanks ! And awesome work Hollywood ! :)

Not solved for me, I still have the problem. (Tested on Persian Gulf, cold-started and with fine alignement) -
I think mirrors angle should be reviewed too. It could be really usefull and currently it just feels like we're at the barber shop. :music_whistling: To see something like this I think would be better. :)

I have a lot of trust in ED's plans and many people in my squadron too, new DM, new planes, functionality etc. and we love Persian Gulf, NTTR, Georgia ! Where the trust is lacking is when it comes to Ugra-Media and the (45$) unfinished and already two years old, only map we can flight currently for WW2 and that seems abandoned. I say "seems" because it is probably not the case, but the lack of communication about the state of the map by the devs is not really reassuring and still prevent us to really make plans on a big multiplayer campaign as we do in other sims currently. And we really want to do it on Normandy, but in the current state... :noexpression: I'm sure you won't have any complains if it was sold with the price of a "test-bed" map. That's a good thing and we're happy about that. Not sure we'll continue acquiring Ugra-Media maps after that experience tough... If Normandy is not correctly corrected. I am from a squadron of 70 guys and we all feel the same than this about it. Same in almost every other french squadrons we know too. This map seems something like 50% finished or seems almost lower to anybody who knows well this period, conflict and zone. This is a well documented battle and so many things are wrong. We really hope the team of Ugra-Media will jump on it to correct it after they do their Syria map, otherwise DCS WWII will sadly never really takes-off (not with with this map anyway). :noexpression: And this "4. User place-able rough field airstrips." is the best idea ever.

Hello ! Just a little idea : the turned off design of the mirrors on the F14 is way better thant the black things we have on the Viggen. It would be nice to have the same texture for our swedish bird. I can't afford to have them on as it makes my computer freeze, and the black hole thing is really ugly when mirrors are turned off. :) Many thanks and have a good day ! Roll

Hello pilots & editors, I hava a question for you regarding the new SA PAGE in the F18 and the mission editor. Currently it seems like when I make a mission, the SA PAGE of the F18 place all the ennemy SAM that are on the maps on it : Here is an exemple on a test mission : Pilots of the F18 in this mission are not supposed to know there is that many SAM there. And it doesn't seem to rely on RWR as the SAMS are really far away and marked on SA PAGE anyway. Do you know if there is a way to hide the SAMS or not have them entered automaticaly on F18 SA PAGE ? Hey there, I didn't make a report for a moment, here's one from my last session: Seen on beta version (2.5.2.18736) Visual: - Raycast shows trees as white like water making radar unusable on ground surface (Ok on water as it is fully white) - On the radar, the corner-layers of the sweeping indicator are visible (little white lines) - Radar reflections on the HUD. - Maverick sight position (weird look compared as before - TV not at the same place). - No reflections on gauges in cockpit. - Panel lights are not 10% as good as they were on 1.5. - RWR indicator colors seems wrong (to bright, not as 1.5) Audio: - Master mode selector doesn't make sound when used with shortcuts (work only when used with the mouse). - Slav SI and Hojd CISI does make sound only in one way when used with a shortcut. (work properly when used with mouse) Still pending things (?) : - Mirrors - PBR and updated gauges (reflections?)? - Pilot's body - IFF doesn't turn on? The radar/trees thing is -to me- the most annoying bug, as it makes the planes really less efficient for land attacks. Hello there, Just a little question this time: I did make a mission but only players with french version of the game can read the in-game briefing. In the editor I see that I can choose different images regarding of the client language, but I don't see where I'm supposed to enter the briefing text for each different version of the client (DE client, FR client, EN client,...) Do you know where I can find that in the editor? Thank you very much by advance. Roll
