  4. Got my own mission running, it was fine up until the other day (making tweaks) but now it crashes (just with the AI running through it's thing). Any ideas?   5. There is something about the dates as well, day 1 of month 1 is like in june or something silly. Search the forums. You can change the date/time at any point in the mission editor, so you don't need to create a new mission.
  6. What diveplane says. You must be on the latest patch to get this as well. An earlier patch switched on the affinity, which also increases the speed of the sim on certain OSs.

  8. I keep getting an odd bug, with different AI aircraft. They take off, do there thing and come back to the runway to land. All as the waypoints have set. However some planes seem to decide to turn halfway down the runway (as they are taxing to the end) and cross the grass onto the taxiway/parking area. They seem to do this (it would seem) when another plane is comming down the taxiway/parking area and thus both planes stop, causing a traffic jam. This has happened with different aircraft, and I can sort of "fix it" with individual landing aircraft by making them fly a long way from the airbase before comming in to land, giving the landing aircraft plenty of time before the next plane comes in. Anyway I got this problem again last night with aircraft from the same flight, and I can split them up really! Any ideas?
  9. Are you playing with the resolution of one of the doors so that it matches the other door? I am very impressed with the work so far, it looks so much better!
  10. Have we heard anything regarding a tie in with the purchase of both this and DCS for a little saving? I am not expecting it, but if a deal was done it would be handy for me to know before I start ordering things because money is about to get rather tight.
  11. This is looking AMAZING! The one thing that really iratates me is when I look around the cockpit and there is just a flat texture of "grey" for parts of the pit. From what I can see you have fixed this, is this the case? Or are they not textured and your unable to?

  13. I was watching that going..."he bloody has!" I nearly said when you put the a10 test video up (when you were talking about music and the fact it was cool and you couldn't stop listening to it) that you could do with some Imediate Music...and you have! :D I suppose after the two towers mix last time you couldn't get better, you had to go sideways. Anyway nice vid, a bit too much shake at times and a few bits that looked "after effects-ie" for my liking, and I think you need a space after "sound" on the opening titles, but it is rather good. Certainly builds up the hype, well done.
  14. I am currently using one of these in a mission I have, it lands just infront of where I was taking off, I gave a little yelp when I saw how bad it looks. In comparison this...no actually there is no comparison. Awesome work.

  16. If alt tab fails to switch (or switches you straight back) the windows key usually works. Jab it and you can usually get the taskbar and from there anywhere you want.

  18. Sorry to bring up an old post, but does anyone know what the default values are? As in what does the sim run at as standard. I assume: sound.cockpit_world_volume = 0 sound.cockpit_world_lowpass = but what's this? I assume world volume is 0 because from the explanation setting it to 0 is a good starting point. So what's the default frequency cutoff is 24k is no cut off?

Hopefully some country who knows about ED buys them and then: "bum, we don't know anything about them, if only there were some company out there that makes mil spec simulations that we could hire to make us a training aid and we then let them produce a desktop version for Joe public...hmmmm" :D
  20. There was originaly suppsed to be a 9, but it's now the higher end 7's. It is confusing and should be why Intel called them the 9 to help differenciate them... Anyway a bloke at work went from a Q something or other to a high end 7 and said the difference was quite imense. No slow down at all. But then again, he doesn't really play anymore so it's difficult to really know. I never really used to get any slow down on my OCd Q6600 until this latest patch and after I started making my own (loads of AI) missions.
