  1. That would be a great help!
  2. I see, well I am working on it. I will let you know when it's ready :D
  3. Are you saying it's already translated into Russian accented English?
  4. If you have an x52 setup the software to latch the trim button. That way you press it, manouever, get stabilised on your new heading and then press the button again. It's really easy and is quite useful. I setup a shiftstate on a button to display the trim status so I check it if I am getting some odd issue in flight and before I get into an autohover. I agree though that have to trim in emergancy situations and certain combat scenarios is not desirable, hence I keep FD on my pinkie switch (sounds rude :D) so I just jab that when I need "full" control and to be able to throw the KA-50 around.
  5. Ulrich, I will be PMing you, I hope this is ok. Also I get the impression from other threads that it was a time constraint that caused the English version to have the Russian speech and I am now wondering if it will be translated in the patch?
  6. It's because you have lost power (reducing the throttle from auto does it usually) and the INU has lost it's settings. It takes a few minutes to re-align, then your speed works. Or if you go over 50kph forces the old traditional air speed indicator to kick in (air flowing over the sensor). This is also the case if you take off too quickly after power up.
  7. LOL I am sure that would go down well!
  8. There is no RWR!?!?!:smartass:
  9. +1 One word would have covered it, but let's not mention that trigger word shall we.
  10. I have already requested the encylopedia be "fixed" to be like lockons, it was so much easier, and was pretty much complete if I rememeber correctly. My post was skipped I think and I never got a response.
  11. I am recording the VO for the Deployment campaign. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=615532&postcount=1 http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=617852&postcount=8
  12. Ah yes, good idea! I have already found that directory and had been searching for sentences to get a feel for the influxes in the voices, I never thought about listening to the names. I have listened to the VO from the missions and they are difficult to follow and pick out the words I want.
  13. I have, and they aren't. They basically said that most of the work like this get's done by modders...I suppose it's cheaper :D
  14. Yes...I thought you might have picked up on that one! :helpsmilie::megalol: I suppose, I mean the KA-50 is being built on a budget..."we are currently passing over...sqshqush garbeled zzzzccccraaaccckkkle...a nice place to live"
  15. LOL no probs.
  16. Pah, is that the attitude that won us the war...I think not!:pilotfly::D
  17. Lets chill chaps. He is entitled to a refund, the distance seller act (does that go as far as Russia?) says he does. I am sure ED will be more than happy to give him a refund, they aren't out to rob people. Althought quite why he posted instead of emailing I don't know. To Wombat, I think most people are just a little flabbergasted because it's like taking a cheap (but exceptionally made and good looking) car back because you don't like the colour of the floor mats. It's such a small part of an amazing game that if you would only give a chance you would probably enjoy. If it's something else that is causing you problems and your just blaming the VO then post it. Most people here would be more than happy to help you out. You probably don't realise but everyone playing this "game" is still a rookie and we are all still crashing. We are getting better, but it's a hard thing to learn and something even harder to master. And as I said before the Russian voice over is getting translated anyway. So other part of the game and when the translation is ready play the Deployment campaign.
  18. Sorry is that addressed to me? As I said it is NOT my site.
  19. Afternoon all, I was wondering if we had any Russian language speakers in here, and if so could you help me with the pronunciation of the words listed below? For instance I am after this kind of thing: Lady - Pronounced - "Lay-de". This is part 1 of upto probably about 12 parts that will be most likely along the same lines as this. I can't offer you anything other than my thanks and maybe a little credit :D Sukhumi Ust-Dzheguta Tereze Kislovodsk-Zapadniy Krasniy Kurgan Kislovodsk Essentuki Kuban Sukumi Stavropolskiy Dzheguta Novaya Dzheguta El’tarkach Krasnovostochniy Pastbishniy Mt. 20. RapidllBlade, it's not my site. It has nothing to do with me in the slightest.
  21. You never answered the question as to whether your menu's are in English or not, because my wingman (in the English version) talk in English, the same with the tower, maintenece etc. The ONLY thing that isn't in English are the voice overs embeded in the missions. Is this the case for you? I don't want you to make the mistake of dropping this title altogether if you have in fact just purchased the incorrect version.
  22. Hello, No I am not. Why do you ask?
  23. I take back everything I said, I just looked at the page source, you are in fact correct! Maybe he get's referer fee's for posting those on there, or it's been hacked. Your page tries to open an external page in an iframe. This is what google has to say about that site: http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?&site=http://200.155.17.172/ You then have a massive long list of pron links. The funny thing is I noticed none of this until I switched off the page styling and then viewed the code...naughty naughty! If your seriose about fixing it replace your index page code with something like this (this is untested but it should be correct): <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Home of all things Cool</title> </head> <body text="#FF0000" bgcolor="#000000"> <p align="center"><img border="0" src="2.gif" width="835" height="98"></p> <p align="center"><img border="0" src="1.jpg" width="835" height="542"></p> <p align="center"><font face="Buckingham">Home of all things Cool</font></p> <p align="center"><font face="Buckingham">est 12/17/05</font></p> </body> </html>
  24. Womble, I suspect you have the English version, as if you managed to purchase the rusian version then your either: a) very lucky at jabbing buttons b) you followed a guide (in which case it should have been self evident what you were purchasing) c) something went wrong on the DCS site and you manage to download the wrong version If you are running the English version, and like people have said, the thing that makes you think it's russian is the Deployment campaign don't worry. Drop out of it, practice with the training and mission builders. Get used to the helecopter and by the time your ready to play the campaign our new voice over should be ready.
  25. Are you sure it's not you? You could be suffering from poisned DNS, a Virus or some form of infection along the lines of adware etc. The site is fine on my PC. To be honest I think the problem is your end...you might even have an evil ISP! :D
