I would like to buy a fairly recent set of MFG Crosswind rudder pedals and if possible, the extra cost damper. USA only.

I read the following from an old forum post: CENTRAL POSITION TRIMMER MODE - this is for joysticks without force feedback. When set to ON, stick input is "frozen" after you press-release the trimmer button until you return it to center position. This is designed to give you time to return the stick to center without having to do it very quickly, like you would have to do with this options turned OFF. The same applies to pedals is pedal trim is ON. Is the above still correct? How long do you have to re-center if Central Trimmer Mode is used-no time limit? If you use the default trimmer mode, how long do you have to re-center? Does the trimmer take effect on the press or the release?

I fly mainly as a single player and after watching some videos on the Apache, I am concerned that it may be too much for a single player even with the AI. For example, will most single players be flying mostly as the pilot or as the gunner? As a long time Helios and view port exporter, I assume that the two pilot screens will be exportable in both the pilot and gunner cockpits. However, what about the center screen for the gunner? Even though not part of the pilot's cockpit, do you believe that we can still export the third gunner's screen to a second monitor that has the pilot cockpit so that we can have all 3 screens on a second monitor in the pilots cockpit? I think something like this has been modded in the F14 for the pilot to also have a view port that IRL is only for the weapons officer. Did you turn the radios on? I had the same problem until I realized I needed to do so.

The training missions for the 60L keeps crashing and the Haifa Dispatch mission video shows it for the 60L but the mission itself is for the Huey. Should I just try to replace one for the other in the mission? When I tried to replace the 60L with the Huey in the Haifa mission, it crashed.

My head hurts. Not because of an accident. But because I banged it against the wall several times this morning. Why? Simple. I woke up this morning and checked my virus scanner and of course, the interface exe was blacklisted. No wonder it would not work. I wonder if I will ever learn to check that first when a program does not work as it should. Anyhow, the ID lookup and DCS Comms buttons on the Interface buttons on the Streamdeck all produce the charts that are shown in the video so I assume any plugin based on the interface should work. I will test that shortly as I am still learning how to use the streamdeck. For future reference, here is my combined Helios and Interface export.lua file. The helios part works and I will be checking the interface part in the next day or two. Some uses suggest that the interface export script should go on top, but when I did that, Helios had some issues. As Helios has lost one of its key developers and as CZ appears to be very business with his real-life job and as DCS keeps tinkering with the DCS code (causing issues with Helios), I am afraid that the future of complex profiles such as the ones that CZ is famous for-may be at an end. How did you do it? While I am a long time user of Viacom Pro, I have never used the commands below: Radio Control Select (AM/FM) xxx decimal x Radio tune mod freq MHz Select Channel [1-20] Radio tune channel As far as I can determined, these are the only commands used in Viacom Pro to change the radio freq. and channels. I have started on Baltic Dragon's new A-10C Iron Flag campaign and it requires a lot of radio freq. changes so I tried to use the above Viacom Pro commands to do so and have the following issues: (Note: I have set each of the 3 A-10 radios to a separate button on my HOTAS so as to avoid confusion as to which radio I want to use. ) First, for the freq. changes, do you say Select AM xxx.x or do you leave out the AM? The UHF radio has 6 digits so do I add the additional digits to the voice command? Second, in the game, the only channel number that changes is the UHF radio. The other two radios do not change their channel number when commanded to do so. Third, none of the above commands (freq. changes or channel changes) work to change the radio(s) freq. or channels (even though the UHF channel does show a change of channel number in the game) on any of the three radios. Is this a Viacom Pro issue or is it limited to this custom campaign (or is this a simple user error)? Has anyone successfully used these radio commands in any module and if so, which one(s)?

Awhile back, someone (whose name I do not know) created a mod that colorized the TGP in DCS 2.0. However, this mod no longer works in the current version of DCS and I was wondering if anyone has the knowledge to update it or create a new mod to make the TGP in color. I just wanted to verify that the T-Link software for the T-rudder pedals ONLY works with VKB flight stick controllers and will not work with flight controllers from other companies. Correct?

What is needed to mod my Pro Pedals. The toe brakes are not calibrating and will stick going down the runway. I might as well do something on the rudder also.

I have an old set of CH Rudder Pedals that I have enjoyed for many years. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get them to calibrate properly so the time has come to retire them. I am looking at the “big” 3 in pedals. MFG, Virpil and VKB. I mainly fly jets but am looking forward to the Apache so I would like pedals that I could use for both types of flying. One person posted this about the big 3: VKB T-Rudders cheap but no toe-brakes "per se", but not critical if you are only into jets and helos MFG Crosswinds amazing quality, most likely a 10/10 product, 11/10 with the damper Virpil ACE middle ground between the VKB and MFG regarding both quality and price tag My own research would tend to agree with the above. I have a TM throttle but a Virpil joystick so I might favor the Virpil except for all of the glowing reviews about MFG. When I do buy, I plan to get some of the optional stuff at the same time to avoid the hassle of waiting for a shipment to arrive and the somewhat high shipping costs for small parts. For example, if I got the MFG pedals, I would probably order the package deal that they have and at the same time, get the extra cost damper. Of course, every time I look at the websites of the above sellers, the pedals are always out of stock. On the MFG Crosswind V3 graphite base, is there just one model with multiple footrests or are there different models? On the footrests, I would probably get the Combat/universal footrests. Comments and thoughts would be appreciated.

What's the big deal? Just wait and let them give us a reasonable version 1.0 that will be fun to play with rather than a buggy beta.

Snaproll I have 2 sets of MFDs for a total of 4. One set is old and one set is reasonably new, but I cannot tell which is which. Two mfds work fine and two mfds are giving me trouble. However, all 4 register very nicely in the windows/tm gaming controller app. So you may be on to something. I was thinking of getting another pair as I use them like a button box many times. However, the price has gone up and the supply is very scarce. Without the use of target or something similar, I do not think there is any way I can lengthen the key press time. For the time being, I am using Voice Attack a lot to initiate commands to just avoid this issue.

My wife thinks I am nuts for playing DCS with all the problems. She may be right. Re-enabled your mod and now of course it works.

checked and nothing appeared I use a mod manager and the only thing I did different this morning after the problem occurred was to remove this mod from the list and everything was then ok.

For all the modules. The control panel in the game was totally blank and nothing appeared.

About 5 days ago, I installed version 2.0 of the skyhawk. Since I installed it, everything worked fine until this morning.

Weird thing happened today. This morning in the Controls panel of DCS, no controls were visible. All of the other panels were fine. I did a repair but still no controls. So in my mod manager, I disabled this mod, and the controls showed up again. Not sure why. Also today, the kneeboard builder will not work. I am wondering if DCS did some type of silent update.

I do not use Target. I will double check the assignments but the last time I looked, the MFDs and DCS were on the same page. Just checked and all MFDs in the joystick setting numbers and in DCS are the same. I still think it has something to do with the electronics in the MFDs and not being happy with my USB ports.

I have had my MFDs for several years, however in the last few weeks, several of the buttons no longer work. They seem to work in the Controls screen in the game, but in the actual game, the press does nothing. If I switch the command to another MFD it works in the game. So the issue seems to be with the MFDs and not DCS. I have switched USB ports ( all MFDs are plugged into a powered Hub), but this did not solve the problem. Has anyone run into this problem? I am thinking of just replacing them, but Amazon is out of stock and I am not sure about some of the other retailers.

Your old mission 4 for the skyhawk works fine after I saved it in the ME.
