While landing on the US Carrier i landed on what would be elevator #2 the one up in front of the Island....But Huey went right through the ship elevator :noexpression:

Just a guess...But it sounds like they are lights easily seen at night with NVG and used for Formation flying at night.:unsure:

One of the main differences between the Helo's in the Vid's doing rolls and the UH-1 is the Helo's in the Vids have Pressurized Hydraulics including the reservoir, I do not believe the UH-1 has a pressurized system like the H53 has. The other factor affecting real life is once you stressed the airframe to that point it would be good for nothing but static display. The H53 you see in the video was an A model marine bird pulled right from the flight line. After the aerobatics the airframe was retired because of being over stressed at Main GB bolting points and center frame section. It was used for Training... we use to call it "Alfie"

Try shutting off all the cooling system on left panel after starting "Before Taxi" and turn the cooling back on after 3 min or so. I heard/read somewhere that some folks have to do this kind of reset to get the cooling system to work. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=99465&highlight=overheat From SOBEK -moderator There was a bug where the regulator would only start to work once you put the switch to manual and back to auto. If the regulator is undamaged and the switches are in auto, there should be no reason for you to worry about temperatures unless you are flying very slow at high power. hope this helps;)

If this was an H3 I would say there was a collective loop spring failure. the acft was on the ground and a lot of collective was suddenly induced. I suspect a control malfunction.

That was great compared to what i have been able to accomplish. My decent is great from what ever till I get to the transition to a hover point. At that time Huey and I jump on the mat, He has both of my hands and feet tied up and I am pushing against him for all I am worth. We wrestle back and forth for a while and usually I eventually wear him out and he gives in but it takes a lot of work and I am sweating by that time. If anybody was in the back on my landings they would beat me to death when we got on the ground:doh:

Yep :D Thats the spot, you land there and you get 100. yea thanks for the help:thumbup: I can just imagine what it was like hovering around some mud field in the rain looking for A/C 537 and 539 because you are suppose to land in between them. Must have been nerve racking :music_whistling:
