Hey guys, two quick questions:
1. Is the parking break spring loaded, or is it simply pull out, push in without any resistance?
2. Is the gear and hook the standard pull out slightly then raise lower to position?
Yeah I emailed him about the Mic 4 way hat looking like a button and he told me that the Tomcat throttles only had one 4 way hat for the wing sweep. I showed him the correct throttle layout which he said they can easily do. Still concerning that they didn’t get it right though.
Thanks for the quick reply! I know we have rain drops in VR, but I was referring to the dynamic rain drops, rather than the static ones I'm only getting in VR.

Huges thanks to watermanpc for the stunning roughmets!
Also thanks to Isoko for the wonderful idea for the HGU-55 helmets stand ins!
I intend to do a couple more Slugger and Be-Devilers birds of Desert Storm fame and the grime they subsequently collect during their 1990-91 cruise aboard CV-60 for the upcoming release of HB's Forrestal carriers.

I have been working on some Sara skins for them. With realistic weathering, colour tones and sun saturation. One small gripe I have with the HB skins is that they’re all far to dark of a tone to be realistic. Especially the 207 Sluggers skin. 207 was incidentally the Tomcat involved with the AIM-7 shot and is one of the most photographed Tomcats of DS.
That was more to do with airframe longevity and less to do with the structural capabilities of the avionics. You have to remember that the Tomcat was rated to 7.5g at M2. One of the strongest airframes ever made. People tend to forgot what being a carrier aircraft does to a jet over 30+ years.
