  1. Just completed 'Thief Of Baghdad' from VF-24 in 1991, uploading now.
  2. Haven spoken to many RAAF Hornet pilots, all have mentioned that JHMCS is not a wonder weapon/death dealer. It’s extremely straining on your neck, to the point where I was told that often under the strain of G’s you cannot actually get your head in a position to make full use of HOBS. I’ve also heard similar anecdotes about the Vipers seat being restrictive and the cause of serious neck issues at the end of a career. Things that will never be simulated, but change the reality of how these things operate in the real world.
  3. Well after losing all my .PSD's for the 5+ skins I was working on I have decided to start on some again. VF-24 'Thief Of Baghdad' 1991 should be finished soon, here is what I have after todays session.
  4. Well after re-wiring all the panels and adding some more to total 6 leobodnar Bbi32’s, it’s finally finished. Everything is functional aside from the knobs on the HSD/VDI and gauges.
  5. +1 Noticed that the VDI and HSD have become much darker since the last update. Not saying it’s unplayable or needs immediate attention, just somewhat funny how update to update the lights change within the pit.
  6. I always find it quite funny how people bemoan about the ‘PC’ crowd getting bothered and upset over everything, he’s asked a simple request. Yet it has bothered you enough to comment, quite ironic isn’t it. I think that for since it has no impact on those whom want profanity or don’t, it’s a nice option to have. But I think that as Mike and others have pointed out, it will be easier to leave it to the user to do this themselves.
  7. Cheers mate, I’ve tried to make everything as functional as the sim will allow. Both Ejection handles are functional with the seat arm; canopy control handle works accurately; PAL on the sidewall and the fuel shut off handles work. Still waiting on HB to add the bindings for some other things for them to become functional, such as the Master Test and whatnot, but they’re wired and ready to go. Some more pics:
  8. From what I’ve read that is because in nearly all museum birds it was either removed or broken off. As it had a habit of grabbing people. But the small fin antenna is apart of the ALQ-100 system and is present on all fleet F-14A/B’s that I can find with the TCS housing installed.
  9. Yeah I don’t understand this myself, we’re still missing quite a bit. The ECM blisters I can sort of understand, but the ALQ-100 antenna nub not being on the TCS seems like it would of been such an easy thing for HB to add.
  10. Ah well if it’s available I’d love to take that UH-1 slot, cheers mate!
  11. Gunslinger - UH-1 Door Gunner/Co-pilot if possible.
  12. I don’t ever fly without VKR running. But one thing that I’ve never figured out is that whenever I fly multiplayer the briefs that load are always for the other faction.
  13. I don’t need anything thanks, my pit is finally finished! All the panels are hand made by ply and painted. I used 20mm chip board for the structures and worked sheet metal for all the hood and guards.
  14. Would also really love for this to be addressed, Natops says that 80% to get rolling then idle is enough to maintain taxi speeds. You feel glued to the ground in DCS.
  15. Here is my pit, what do you need?
  16. Hmm, all you have to disable is pure textures. Many servers run without it and I have never heard of someone cheating with it. But I have no qualms either way.
  17. Any chance of allowing the use of the wonderful GTM Normandy?
  18. Gunslinger - Red F-14A
  19. After a month of good use with my G2 today the right lens just started flickering and there is vertical coloured lines on the left of the right lens that move and warp with movement telling me it's a software issue. So utterly disappointed with the G2, I'm starting to now see more and more people reporting faults. I think there needs to be more people coming fourth with the problems rather than the loud bunch whom scream "mine is fine so there is nothing to see here". Really don't want to have to deal with HP support and get mine replaced because I really don't have faith that this won't happen again.
  20. Well done reflected, can not believe the realism and immersion you’ve managed to cram into this campgain so far. I really loving it!
  21. Thanks for the replies everyone, I've just gone with Leobodnar boards as it will only require two either side for the panels. Nearly finished marking the TCN panel and the canopy controls to finish the pit completely!
  22. Sadly this no longer seems to work, it did the job for about 4 restarts until it jumbled up all the id's and I'm back to square one. Hopefully there is a way out there to get this sorted before I have to buy a bunch of LeoBodnar boards which will take months and I will have to rewire the entire thing.
  23. I must admit, as a VR user this is something I often forget. I find it so much easier to simply glance at the gauges out of my peripheral, like Victory mentioned, to know all I need. I actually find it easier than in the Hornet or Viper where I find myself getting sensor overloaded by the HUD shoving every last drop of information into such a small space. Whereas I find the Tomcats HUD to be perfect, it displays everything you need to know in each mode while giving you a pretty good Field of Regard out over the nose. If people already complain about the lack of vision on a monitor out the front of the Tomcat, I couldn't imagine they'd be much happier with the large combiner glass frame of the Kaiser and Sparrowhawk even further limiting their vision.
  24. Thank you so much! This appears to have worked so far! Though the only hiccup I'm having is it only allows for 16 devices when I have 23, so I'll continue to work on flashing the others!
  25. Yeah I honestly could not recommend it enough to people, tired of hearing the usual crap people throw at winwing for their quality because they're Chinese. Best throttle on the market for sure!
