That’s exactly how I’ve done it before and after the update. Before it worked perfectly, now the RPM drops after one or two seconds and the engine becomes silent.

Before the update, it worked smoothly. Starter engaged, stabilizing at 700 rpm, moving mixture to auto lean, waiting a little bit, moving to auto rich, disengage the starter and it runs perfectly. Now it stops working after a few seconds at 700 rpm, at mixture cut-off, auto lean or auto rich, starter still engaged or disengaged after some seconds. Nothing works. I tried everything. All controls move into the right direction visually.

No matter what I do, and I hadn't any problems to get the engine running before the update. Anything new in the procedure I have overseen?

I like both very much! Don't forget, the F4U is brand new and the P-47 already refined in some aspects over the last years, so this is a little bit like comparing apples and oranges.

Optisch erkennst Du sie an den unterschiedlichen Nasen. In der britischen Jaguar GR.1A ist ein Laser Ranging and Marked Targeting System (LRMTS) integriert. Kann man hier auf meinem Foto gut sehen: Der Doppelsitzer T.2A hat den LRMTS allerdings nicht. War übrigens der erste Jet, in dem ich im Backseat ein eigenes HUD hatte, also ein echtes, nicht so ein Kamera-System, das durch den vorderen Sitz guckt wie im Eurofighter. Edit: Auf der Website von Dassault ist nur der AzurPoly-Jaguar für MSFS zu sehen, der allerdings bekanntlich in beiden Versionen. Zum Thema DCS steht da (noch) nichts. Ich bin mal gespannt, was das wird.

Und ich gehe jede Wette ein, dass sowohl vom A-Jet als auch von der Jaguar die französischen Versionen auf den Markt gebracht werden … entweder zuerst oder ausschließlich. Damit hält sich meine Freude über diese Ankündigung bis zur Ankündigung des Gegenteils in sehr engen Grenzen. Eine britische Jaguar für die CWGer-Karte? Mit Handkuss.

Why do You all need deadzones? It only makes the steering less sharp. I haven’t deadzones in any aircraft profile I use. No offend, I really want to know why You prefer them.

I start with Deadzone 0 and Curvature 15 like in the P-47 and then I will see. Today in the evening. The P-47 is rock steady with these settings, at least for me. Do not have FF.

Ich muss mich @kotor633 anschließen. Sobald meine Installation anfängt herumzuzicken, nutze ich nicht die Repair-Funktion, sondern fege alles von der Platte, nachdem ich die Config und Liveries und Mods separat gesichert habe. Neuinstallationen lasse ich einfach über Nacht laufen. Und habe ein ganz frisches Spiel.

I wouldn't give up neither the semi-official A-4 which is required in some MP servers to join nor the few additional AI aircraft I have in the MAM (which I already used for briefing illustrations in real world military flying). Both have never ever affected the game and rest peacefully in the Saved Games / DCS / Mods / aircraft folder. I can't imagine that they hampered the F10 options. No connection. But it doesn't matter anyhow, finished the #10 mission successfully with my sixth kill and landed safely at the home base in spite the oil pressure went to zero. And I am sure I can do the final two missions also without touching the F10 menu. Anyway, thank You for Your efforts. Will buy "Wolf Pack II" on the first day.
