  1. Indeed Formation Lights are meant to be seen only from up close IRL, hence why they don't bother switching them off in night operations. They are clearly too bright now, or at least DIM option should have a effect on brightness here's a glimpse of what it looks like with NVG:
  2. 'RD' mode is still not implemented, and AFAIK Razbam never answered on whether it will be implemented one day or not
  3. I like the way it is currently. I can understand the need in real squadrons, but in DCS it would have more drawbacks than benefits IMO
  4. I guess this bug is not resolved then:
  5. It's written in the manual and has been stated/repeated a million times on this forum: you can't mix loadout in the Mirage 2000C. It's Magics + one weapon type. So no mix of rockets and bombs, or mix of 530 and bombs, or mix of different bombs.
  6. Hi TrueGrit, any roadmap for 2021 to share with us for the Typhoon? Curious on how you're progressing with data gathering, 3d modelling, systems coding and what is planned for this year.
  7. I might add that the MEM/XFR behaviour around buffer memory is described in Razbam Manual, page 83: 10. MEM/CLR BUTTON. This will show the value recorded in the buffer memory (can be a channel or frequency). If keypad was used to enter frequency or channel, the button displays CLR option, used to delete the previous input. 12. XFR / VAL BUTTON. XFR (TRANSFER) allows to return to the previously used channel or frequency. Whenever a new channel is used or new manual frequency is entered and validated, the previous one is placed in the buffer memory. You can switch between them using the XFR button. If keypad is used to enter frequency or channel, the button displays VAL, used to validate that input.
  8. I don't know how this knob works IRL. Elmo might be able to answer when he'll have a look at your post.
  9. Altitude selected is displayed in top right corner of the HUD with SELH selected.
  10. It might be linked a bug i've reported already, where whereas you're supposed to have 16 flares available by default, you can release only 14: Seems to have a core issue with flare qty
  11. Seems you're not in AG attack mode in your screenshot, if you were the VTB wouldn't look like that. That's a reason why diamond is not appearing. I agree with Rayak, looks like HUD is in test mode (Speed and Altitude in big fonts and not aligned with heading scale, gun cross appearing whereas it shouldn't with bombs selected and MAG/CAN master modes not selected...). Another reason why diamond is not appearing
  12. Thanks Elmo, and congrats for your child by the way.
  13. The 2000-9 isn't an upgrade of the 2000C. Let's have the M2000C finished first !
  14. That's because if you wish something hard enough, it can become reality :santa::santa::santa:
  15. Seems he is talking about the TDC cursor position that is displayed on the bottom left corner of the VTB. It shows relative position of the cursor from selected waypoint on VTB (selected via N switch of the VTB). You usually select the waypoint set for bullseye in order to have your TDC cursor position from Bullseye shown on VTB which helps for Air Interception communication with AWACS and other flights/package. You can also select Waypoint 00 to have TDC cursor position from you, which helps with BRAA calls. So basically, that's a main tool for Air interceptors like the Mirage.
  16. Are those shots still from a placeholder model ? Will we have the opportunity to see some first pics of the 3D external model done by TG for Christmas for example ? We have seen 3D model pics from the gears and the cockpit only so far IIRC
  17. Razbam (Prowler if i remember correctly) mentioned a while ago now that they would do it. I'm not sure it's still in their plans French Air Force was very interested with it if it could be delivered quickly, to use it like they use the 2000C to train their pilots. But it seems it's not the case anymore for whatever reasons (probably because they realized that it wouldn't be delivered quickly). The was the only opportunity to have it done quickly. So now, if done one day, it won't be before years as several other modules are in the loop (Super Tucano, Mig 23, F-15E, and some others). And if i have to wait 5-10 years, i'd rather have the Rafale. But the Typhoon is coming, so i'll be enjoying the 2000C until it's released, and it will make me wait until the -5 or the Rafale if one of them is ever done in DCS
  18. Still an issue on latest OB New track attached Clock bug Zulu_Local time.trk
  19. As mentioned in the latest interview, TrueGrit is in touch with MBDA regarding implementation of the meteor, so it's not validated yet. As for autothrottle, why wouldn't it be in ?
  20. Still not implemented in latest open beta. Is it planned to be implemented in the future like PD (pente désirée) ? If so, can it be marked as such ?
  21. Damn, i have just noticed i mixed up flare and chaff in the title and in attachments. issue reported is about flare as described. I'll rename the attachments. Could a admin update the title to 'flare qty issue' please?
  22. This is an old bug, that is still present on latest Open beta. From latest Razbam manual, page 207 and 208, the mirage 2000 is equipped with 16 flares in the SPIRALE system, and can add up to 3 rack of 8 flares (24 flares in total) on the ECLAIR Pod if equipped. 1st bug: When getting airborne with the default 16 flares, only 14 are available as shown in track attached. Program 8 was used for this test (default program created by Razbam, dropping 6 flares per salvo), and from the F2 view you can see, that first 2 salvo drop 6 flares each as expected (12 in total), but third salvo drops only 2 instead of 4 (6+6+2 = 14 instead of 6+6+4 that would make the 16 mentionned in the manual). 2nd bug: In the Rearm menu, qty of flares can be increased above 16 without having the Eclair Pod mounted. This should not be possible. 3rd bug: In the Rearm menu, qty increase by 16 and we can go up to 162 flares. We can select following values: 0,16,32,48,64,80,96,112,128,144,160,162. And this give acces to the qty of flares selected (you can test it with the program 10 dropping 32 flares per salvo) which is not realistic at all. Based on information given by the manual, the only values available should be: 0,16 witout Eclair Pod 0,16,24,32,40 with Eclair pod mounted: 16 from SPIRALE, and then increment of 8 (not 16) for each rack added in Eclair Pod Chaff Qty Rearm Menu.trk Chaff Qty 14 instead of 16.trk
