  1. I don't have any issue entering waypoints in VR directly in cockpit now that i'm used to it. Put AP On, copy coordinates on paper, enter them in PCN, AP std by and fly to target. Same for Viper or Hornet
  2. It's D and G variant sorry, i've edited my previous post. It's documented that automated mechanization works for AGM 65 D/G, and that AGM-65 video is compared to TGP video and slewed to align with TGP video, track is then commanded. So to have AGM video and TGP video compared, makes sense to have TGP in same video mode than AGM65. Wags also mention in his video that AUTO hand off is only available for D/G variant Documentation don't mention H/K CCD variant. From Wags video, it seems it will only be able to correlate AGM-65 H/K LOS with TGP , then you'll have to switch to WPN page to manually lock the target.
  3. Had the same issue, until i saw this post: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4501641&postcount=4 So it seems Auto handoff would work only with D and G variant, and TGP in BHOT/WHOT. To be confirmed, but at least it works fine under these conditions. Man handoff works with other conditions.
  4. Issue still present on latest OB. Gun security and Master Arm impacts PCA mode as described here (track file attached): https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4290761&postcount=26
  5. Issue still present on latest OB, track provided still valid
  6. Just to have it listed: the RD mode is not yet implemented for the M2000C. We should be able to enter a desired track on the PCN and have a corresponding cue in the HUD appearing when activated.
  7. Bug is still here, track attached Enter 250 ft as offset altitude, 76ft is displayed when pressing INS on PCN (250ft being 76m). Seems to be a display bug only as system would take 250 feet in the offset calculation Offset Altitude.trk
  8. Standard Typhoon AoA for landing is 13, standard landing AoA for Hornet is 8.1 Not the whole story, but it gives you an idea. Edit: damn, too slow!
  9. It could be included also in the Future Data Cartridge ED is working on. Just ideas :) i'll create my own kneeboard page in the meantime:thumbup:
  10. Would be great if the SAM codes could be added in the kneeboard (with laser code for GBU)
  11. Same here. I've been reading a lot about it since it has been announced and i am discovering a lot of great capabilities and features. Also very confident in the high fidelity of the product with all the Typhoon knowledge available in TG team, and partnership they have.
  12. Typhoon pilot mentioned in the fighter pilot podcast, that if he get too slow, he could just put the AB and go vertical to dive back behind the enemy, something the hornet can't do, so he mentioned it's not really an issue.
  13. Knowing that F-16 doesn't have a good nose authority, i'm a bit surprised the Typhoon has even less. Compared to Rafale or Hornet it's not surprising, but compared to F-16 i was not expecting it I guess you're talking about 1.0G acceleration right ? I guess that in BFM you can bleed energy quickly (and decelerate) if required due the delta wing ? I'm really curious and excited by this project, as TG is full of knowledgeable people on the Tyhoon. Can't wait to see the result !
  14. Wow, i already had in mind to not bind a command on the throttle for DVI as i thought it would be skipped. Wondering how you guys will implement it !
  15. Yeah strange, why AdA would have asked to correct it if it was correct...but the video show clearly the old behaviour. Razbam might have understood it wrong, like for rho input for BAD when they changed it in km from AdA input, and then changed it back to Nm.
  16. Might have been announced too early. It will be hard to wait several years
  17. He was asked about DACT, that's why he mentioned his experience against the Typhoon. It's well documented that Rafale have very good results against Typhoons on those kind of exercise (at least by Frenchies :)). But he did mention that Typhoon has the edge in high altitude, hence they won't try to fight them in their confort zone. Anyway, let just be happy to have two wonderful European aircrafts and that we can be very efficient working together  We might all praise the FCAS in the future :D
  18. Once you have designated a target in CCRP mode, steering cues appears around the diamond (look like small wings). If i remember correctly, they used to indicate on which side to turn to stay aligned, by placing your wings in the same way that the cue wings. For example, if left cue wing was down and right cue wing was up, it indicates to turn left to stay aligned on the target. Since a couple of updates, the cues show the opposite. Am i mad ? I'm pretty sure i'm not as back in the days, i found it very intuitive. And now i'm always turning in the wrong direction, so i'm pretty sure it has been inverted and i'm guessing it's a bug
  19. Link in the article mentionned by the OP : https://hushkit.net/2019/11/11/flying-fighting-the-dassault-rafale-interview-with-a-rafale-combat-veteran/ Explain well why it's silly to try to compare Rafale and Typhoon.
  20. Not biased at all toward the typhoon....:music_whistling: Looking for excuses everywhere for the Typhoon, best part being: "Leaked Swiss evaluation report The leaked evaluation report from the Swiss fighter contest of 2008/09 put the Rafale ahead of Typhoon in almost every category tested, what do you make of this? Any fighter evaluation depends on the details of the assessment criteria for each exercise and without seeing those, I cannot possibly speculate. However, one thing which is worth noting is that the Typhoon sent to Switzerland was apparently a tranche 1 and one with problems. Someone involved in the competition told me in person that ‘the Swiss told us [Typhoon] that technically speaking we had brought the finest jet of the bunch, but it was as if we had brought a Mercedes sports car where the door wouldn’t shut properly and the air conditioning was broken’." It's total BS... It constantly refers to Typhoon futur upgrade, but it doesn't mention the ones for the Rafale Talks only about power for engine, not consumption... "MICA which is not credible beyond 20km" -> LOL If UK want to try to convince themselves Typhoon is the best plane in the world, so be it. We just don't care which aircraft is the best, we are just happy our country went for the Rafale in France, it answers our needs, not the Typhoon. And we all know the results of simulated engagement between Rafale and Typhoon IRL :music_whistling:
