No logs come up, otherwise I would have.

Still getting CTD even with new patch

River the 15 was confirmed last year. No estimate on release at this time. It sounds as if a lot of the artwork has been done but lots and lots of coding still required.

Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 9
Hatefury replied to gregzagk's topic in Multiplayer
Ok for reference as per what the admins for the server have said. When the F-14 launches its going only to blue on Caucasus and will only be going only to blue on PG. Blue on PG is Iran etc... There are no plans at this time to have the F-14 on both sides. -

Power limitter and afterburner enable bindings missing (not a bug)
Hatefury replied to m4ti140's topic in Resolved Bugs
That makes sense then as they seem to work when I tried it in mission 3. -

Can replicate. Just found this on training mission 2 as well. -
MIG-27 is a separate aircraft anyway and would be a logical next step for this team after the MIG-23 assuming they get access to data and they are allowed to even model a 27.
-
PL12 and PL5 air to air missiles I don't believe are currently in the game. Pretty confident all the air to surface missiles it can carry are not currently modelled and I don't think the LS-6 bombs are currently modelled with DCS either.

Being a block 1 variant it'll be a little behind the F-16C and F/A -18C in some areas, such as no data link or refuelling capabilities. That's not to say its a bad aircraft, because well it isn't. I'm interested to see how some of the weapons are going to be modelled as it does bring a lot of weaponry that simply hasn't existed in DCS before to the table.
-
It says in the original post that the earliest it would be coming was after the M-IIICJ which itself has had no news in quite a while. The aircraft isn't even listed in the roadmap for the short to mid term so if this aircraft is still on the cards I would expect to wait several more years yet, that is of course assuming its still in development. Honestly I would expect to see a couple of aircraft related to the Falklands conflict to go along with the map Razbam are making (not to mention the F-15E and Supertacano) before this project gains any real traction.

The many many many many many many many many many many many other threads that have been created to this subject would indicate a lot of people would also love a full fidelity SU-27 (or practically any other 4th gen Eastern fighter). The only one we're getting any time soon though is the JF-17 (which looks quite capable but slightly behind the 18 or 16).

Honestly developers who are prepared to delay launches in order to resolve bugs or other issues should be applauded. More so if the potential consumer hasn't even paid anything for it yet. On the outside it looks pretty ready. I would avoid the personal attacks on other users though it'll just get everyone involved a warning or ban of some description where as the same concerns written in a less provocative method would more likely provoke debate and reasonable responses. The additional time before launch has means the product should be shipping with most (possibly all) of its training missions as well as additional content and also this team will be moving onto the MIG-23 afterwards which is going to be a highly anticipated module (being the most modern full fidelity Russian plane module we'll likely have access to for a while) so I would rather the team learn how to deal with any of these issues that have slowed the release now than release it anyway and then try sorting it out whilst also trying to concentrate of the next aircraft.

Steam account link now available via DCS Account Profile
Hatefury replied to NineLine's topic in Steam Support
I'm in the same boat for the mirage but I sort of accepted it at the time. It would be nice to get something but I wouldn't expect it as it was in the T&Cs at the time. -
That's excellent news so... 2 more weeks?

From today's newsletter "DCS: MiG-19P by RAZBAM Simulations The DCS: MiG-19P by RAZBAM will be coming later this month! This early, Russian supersonic fighter further completes the line of MiG fighters in DCS World. MiG-15bis, MiG-19P, MiG-21bis, and MiG-29. Named “Farmer” by NATO, the MiG-19 was the first production, Russian fighter capable of supersonic flight and comparable with American “Century Series” fighters like the F-100, F-105, F-106 and others. The MiG-19 is a great addition to the stable of 1950s fighters, with more to come." I'm unsure if that means we'll get to play it by the end of this month or if pre-orders later this month. At a bet I'd say its likely coming after the CE2 which will be launched on the 23rd. I kind of hope I'm wrong though as flying it by the end of the month too.

New video on Facebook. Text below reads "Hello everyone, we will be updating our progress with some images and a ILS landing video here. One of our main focus in recent month is the UFCP, which is the main input device for important systems such as navigation and IFF. DTC card settings including IFF, navigation and countermeasures will be presented in game configs, and you'll be loading it to the aircraft systems during preflight, otherwise most of the systems will receive no preset data and will be rendered unusable. A wrong IFF encoding key may even get you killed as we implemented some rudimentary IFF procedures. We're planning to launch our early access product in summer 2019 if nothing goes wrong." In my opinion looking good so far. Obviously you guys are putting a lot of work into this. It'll be interesting to see some more of the weapons systems in operation (when you are ready to show it of course).

Training Mission 02: Cold Start - bugs and feedback
Hatefury replied to baltic_dragon's topic in Training Missions
I gave up and played ace combat instead ;) In all seriousness it worked fine for me, as was pointed out during the training some of the functions referred to are still missing. All of the switches highlighted as needed and highlights seemed to disappear after clicking. There was a couple of times I had to re-click buttons when I probably did it earlier than I should have done on the displays but that is more down to user error than it not actually working as it should have. Do you know if there are going to be any intentions to put the starting position automatically on the kneeboard similar to the M2K rather than having to do it either from the F-10 map or from the mission designer having to put it in the brief? Or am I being stupid and missing something obvious (wouldn't be the 1st time)? -
The Mirage campaigns (both of them) are two of the best campaigns done. First thing I did with the transition over to 2.5 was replay the Mirage Caucasus campaign even with the DCS AI doing what the DCS AI does it is a great way to learn the aircraft as it ramps up the difficulty slowly and without any spoilers the campaign is worth playing right the way though. I'm looking forward to the updates and to what looks as if it should be a good year coming up for the Mirage, for Razbam and for DCS as a whole.

Even if we don't its not the first module not coming out this year that was expected to. I'd rather they get it when they are ready than trying to force it before Christmas.

Pretty certain whenever the AV-8B+ has been brought up in the past they have said it would be a separate module. I can't imagine the -5 and D being any different. Unfortunately flight sims are a niche market and that creates economic realities as much as I would like to get the -5 and D at a discount I doubt it and I honestly wouldn't hold it against Razbam if they don't ultimately they are working very hard on these and bare in mind up until very recently all of those aircraft have not been in the picture to even do. With that being said I don't think we need to worry about any of that until at least May 2020. Some sort of confirmation either way would be nice but I doubt you'll get that in this thread. I kind of hope there will be campaigns coming out with the MIG - 19 (and later the 23), I was a little disappointed the harrier did not come with one. However there are a few good user campaigns out there for the harrier even in its still incomplete status. Thank you for the update looking forward to seeing more.

I believe the AV-8B was developed over the GR7 as at the time the MOD had still classified parts of the GR7 that would have been needed for the full module, I think that there was a poll at the time suggesting that most of the community would have preferred a GR7 over the AV-8B. With the South Atlantic / Falkland Islands theatre coming I would bet we would see an FRS1 before we would see an AV-8B+. That being said I wouldn't expect to see anything until after the current focuses of finishing the AV-8B, MIG 19, F-15E, MIG 23 and of course the previously mentioned terrain are done 1st. Also when we do see it I suspect it'll be another full module similar to if we ever see a 2000-5, whilst the airframes are similar the extra work required (at least for the systems) would justify them being separate modules. Honestly to get around this argument I kind of hope they have another look at getting a GR9 into DCS or even an FA2 (less likely, and if an FRS1 is developed would probably cause the same it should be a free module discussion).
