  1. Curious, what would be needed to be added in the modeling of this engine, that would cause the engine to smoke on start/warm up. Such things as very cold outside temperature and a very rich engine condition should smoke, as seen in the real world, but I don't see it in our P-51, for example...does this mean that the Merlin is not modeled 100% accurate on oil getting past the rings while the engine is cold and clearances greater than when normal operating temperature?
  2. Good point, include this in the PM to him/it?
  3. Since Almazi is our only human connection to llya, I would just ask him to inform luthier...Almazi is very responsive
  4. I like better the trees in #20 update the devs seem to be going in the right direction. If you read this llya, I'm wondering if we will be able to add our own tree/shrub types in the objects list? We should be seeing the release of the SDK very soon and I am just curious what objects we will have to create with.
  5. "We'll run this until October 15th"...almost comical, all of the scheduling failures so far
  6. We all make our own decisions I personally like IE...I have had all of the others at one point or another. Google may really be evil after all, just to intrusive for may taste.
  7. very fast try it...it fixes remember password too http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2013/11/07/microsoft-ie-11-for-windows-7/?intcmp=trending
  8. My eyes are attracted to motion in a perverted way :P
  9. Thank you...its all good, can't wait to learn them all
  10. It's very exciting that this aircraft is to be the first of the 5 to be finished...unless I misunderstood the schedule
  11. I'm with you on this David, but I think the very most important thing, is to have tree's and shrubs in our objects list. Or the ability to add our own would work too...read my post in the terrain thread about that, we all need to ask llya for that to be included, before its too late :pilotfly:
  12. I agree with that except I would like more flexability than a single hedge object..and like I suggested here: "Almazi...if you could give us a dozen different trees and shrub types in our objects list, and in the tools be able to combine/place/arrange them as individual objects. Then with the man power of the SDK we could do much work on this. A similar tool as in CLod where you can arrange objects, then save to file, paste from file, then able to place and rotate them as a group." having the ability to create, save, paste, rotate as we have in IL-2 CLod FMB, for use with the soon to be released community tools. Then creativity and speed are assured, and Almazi would also have a much easier job for himself on his basic map...I wonder if he is placing a single tree at a time, maybe he will comment this object then can be made in any shape straight, curved etc maybe 20, 50m long...able to be placed/used over and over if it is a performance problem with so many trees and shrubs, then I understand why it can't be done for the game, and I'm fine with that
  13. Maybe they had a chance to finish the SDK, and now that he is home he may surprise us with it...OK, a bit of a dreamer :music_whistling:
  14. I use the prop lever as well in conjunction with the throttle...I always try to keep her RPM/MP in the green zone's, as simple, green is where you want to be. The minutes out of there cause un-needed harm to the engine, unless you are fighting for your life...go green :P
  15. Good idea DB to start a thread about the K. Maybe I will learn a lot because I know very little about her right now.
  16. Almazi...if you could give us a dozen different trees and shrub types in our objects list, and in the tools be able to place/arrange them as individual objects. Then with the man power of the SDK we could do much work on this. A similar tool as in CLod where you can arrange objects, then save to file, paste from file, then able to place and rotate them as a group. nice shot BabyJail...very scary looking for a foot solider and a pilot
  17. Jaws is a great guy with a good eye...congrats Jaws !! :)
  18. thanks to consider...maybe a small percentage could be done denser, maybe a dense vegetation object could be included for use with the SDK or FMB
  19. very nice !...all you need now is a couple of ladies with push sticks :)
  20. Hi Almazi...I think that the flooding looks great you do very good work. The hedgerows, is it still possible to make them more denser with vegetation? As you know the hedgerows were a big part of the German defense, and if its not possible I will understand..thanks
  21. He will appoint someone for that it seems...a good idea I think
  22. Very nice, weekend sunny skies in Ca. waiting for ya
