Hi Everyone, I have a fair few devices VPC MongoosT 50CM3 Throttle VPC PAnel #1 (plugged into Above) VPC Rotor TCS Plus + VPC Apache-64 Collective Grip VPC AntiTorq Rudder (Plugged into Above) VPC VPC MongoosT 50CM3 Base + VPC Constellation ALPHA-R VPC ACE Interceptor Pedals So Because of how VPC devicves worked in teh past all of these devices would work hapopily with each other and the daisy chained Devices would show up as part of the Device it was plugged into.. thus allowing me to have such qualityu of life devices like Mouse Keyboard Speakers Microphone VR Pimax Crystal Light all plugged in at the same time on my computer.. and go fly and not have to worry about anything. Well around the same time.. as I updated my VPC Config tool to the one stated earlier.. I actually got an RMA confrimed to the PCL for a issue I had been having for a while.. told it would only be a couple of weeks I was like ok.. turns out it actually took 5 weeks. in this time and numerous windows updates etc and my devices not being used and unplugged the whole time.. and never actually using them before snd the VR away.. so no flying DCS. when the VR came back I egerly jump in to find all my binding have gone waked. after a long process I finally noticed the extra devices in the binding page.. that led me to the VPC config tool and everyu was fine there.. so then I looked at windows Gaming devices and it was the same as DCS all of teh paired/chained devices are now showing up as doubles this causing massive conflicts for me in DCS bindings. so I set about contacting VIrpil for some help as I had even rolled back my Config tool to the prior one I had been using with no luck.. so I went back further for 4 more times nothing got better.. After a couple of days Virpil support Finally got back to me.. I know they are super busy and all. but seriuosly I cant play my games here. their instructions install the version of the Config tool that I had already rollered back from.. so I followed their link downloaded a fresh copy and installed that one.. YAY this did nothing and I was in the same place as before.. see the image I have added if you have VPC gear you will know that one device in the tool should be 1 device in the windows joystick tool that 1 device is the throttle and the penal #1 plugged in correctly as you can see by it being just one device in the VPC tool. Anyone Got any Idea's its obvious VPC have no clue as to what to do to fix this.. PS I am running windows 11 (yes I know.. but it is what it is) its how I bought the system.. null

OH My heart is in a hole I have been looking forward to fly the Australia map for so long I would have been a day 1 purchase. being an aussie and spending a good number of the best years of my life all over the top end.. in near most of the military bases up there.. Sad that I'll never get to fly it in DCS

Totally useless OVR tool kit.. if you area non Steam player.. or even don't have a Steam Account.. I searched (maybe not as well I could have.. ) but could not find a version of OVR tool kit.. that does not require steam.. If I missed one Sorry..

in the image below the point I started the pimax play app is the point of the jump in cpu usage.. while the usage is not much of a count for me I have plenty itrs the jump in heat and the watts that is bothering me. I'm currently runnning the latest Pimax Play 1.33.02.01 and the latest headset Firmware. v1.0.10 you can see the max temp on the CPU spiked at 100c in the max value. prior to getting the PMCL my cpu has never been this high. the spike was At start of the pimax play app... cpu is 13900k @ 5.4ghz recnt Bios update to address the intel failure acknowledgement Last month.. so it not ramping up from some wacked out OC settings.. Why should they induce a fack drift. its nmot meant to be an AI mdeling a Pilot. its a perfect Pete a pilots best friend.. to take the controls while you do some CPG stuff. it comes with it own Drawbacks thats the inability to dodge incoming thats up to you.. This module is AWesome and meant for 2 people and best and more fun with 2 people... even while learning my buds and I went out and had some fun with it.. no AI pilot there it was all hands on deck. sory bust ya bubble leav eit along its fine.. great for a single player to have a go too

just so you all know this Mission Editor option is broken right now it works and it does not.. tested in the new kola map it works for a breif second trhen the tree's are back.. totally broken in other maps as well .. as of late..

Can you post a trk file ? are you using ST or OB.. and what map.. ?? A little more info .. Please.

Cursor, is detecting the edge of screen for double bump to switch screen's if you are on left mfd and push cusor to right and it detects the edge and if you release the control and then push the cursor again against teh right edge it will jump to the right MFD ... this is correct practice to move from one screen to the other.. How ever it is detecting all edge in the same fashon.. this I"m not sure it is correct.. Trags35...

while this maybe awesome for solo flights what about if you are in a MP server and the map is always zoomed and for others it fine.. what the go there??

My system is I9-9900K @ 5.0ghz, 64GB Ram @ 3600Mhz Gigabyte Aorus Extreme RTX 3090 (Tweaked) M.2 drives and SSD's. Running 4K. average FPS in Syria is 150FPS. Graphics set to High or Extreme preload 5500K everything else at max. today while flying the Gazelle for the first time in ages.. Its a revisit thing hoping its gotten better.. I noticed a sort of rolling Stutter.. or Tumbling.. I've had this once before but that was with the older card a Aorus Extreme 1080ti. so I jumped into the Ka-50 and flew the same track just to make sure of it and it was still there.. so I did some digging make sure I had the lastest Video Drivers ..Check..test again still there.. restart the DCS session. Still there.. OK restart the System.. this is where I had a Problem. DIEmWIN is preventing your system restarting ... WTF OK so force the restart go hunting no sign of DIEmWIN on my system go hunting the net find its a few years old and is something to do ATI graphics cards.. so I'm thinking WTF. Still have not gotten to the bottom of this stuttering and what DIEmWIN is.. but I feel its connected.. as I havfe no Stuttering right now and no sign of DIEmWIN.. ALSO GPU ram usage was MAXED out and GPU usage was 50%..

hmm seems ok now I guess it has just been taking its own merry time sort its self out!! LOL

Ok so KA50 crashes every time I will try deleting to files for it and reinstalling them,

so I did some more testing and the I just flew the FA-18 For a good length of time in the same mission that crashed last time.. that mission was justa clean syria mission nothing in it but 1 KA-50. with some waypoints. so I added a FA18 and tested and no issues.. So restarted DCS to make sure for a fresh boot. jumped in the KA50 and did not even get to start it before it fell over big time. going to test something else.. hmm must be something with the KA-50 as I removed the waypoints cause I read they only access like 6 so dropped from 9 to 2 and crashed the minute I got in the KA-50

Um like I said its a fully fresh install of both windows and DCS.. there is not files that are in the save games folder that DCS did not put there.. but I'll go through this to see if it is an issue.. I'm starting to wish I had not done this.. thought I would start off new the year with a clean install of everything I use and forget the rest .. I have just done a fresh install of windows drivers and DCS from scratch.. yesturday. now my game keeps crashing after a short time... I have included the crash report. there are no mods installed not even tacveiw. main reason for re-install of all my software is installation of new video card 3090. dcs.log-20210116-020854.zip

I know your pain.. I'm trying to return the current location of a client control unit.. EG ka-50 but so far I'm failing miserably,

Ok so I'm try to do this is LUA. I have tried a few things .. and All have failed . I'm trying to get the location of a client unit. I have tried MyUnit is supposed to be the client unit I'm in.. but I keep getting an error trying to (a nil Value) so maybe I'm a dumb person but I just don't get that How to return the X,Y location of a player unit. I'm probably doing it all wrong.. I'm trying to learn to do this lua .. I've tried the Hogit wiki found a couple of things that looked promising but I get a similar error MyLocY = MyUnit:GetCoordinate():GetVec2():GetY() --Get the Y Coordinate of my Unit MyLocX = MyUnit:GetCoordinate():GetVec2():GetX() --Get the X Coordinate of my Unit

Love their version of a moving map LOL.. but pretty low tech answer to a high problem... Love it..

Looks great Plus 1 for all th3e wishes although I dont use VR yet, I'll be going there again once I get my hands on a Reverb G2. I think iots come of age the Oculus 1 I had was not there enough for me.. 4K v's Screendoor 4K wins everytime.

Also been having trouble getting it off the ground even with only 1 item in the cargo hold... does the rocket assist work?? they don't seem to for me..

Anyone been able to get the cargo to be usable .. when I drop parachute cargo it hits the ground and goes right on through it... I have the Cargo lua file loaded along with Recent version of Mist.. As I have added to a current mission I have got CTLD and CSAR lua scripts .. I tried the included miz file but as the version has moved on that does not works its looking for an earlier version of the Herc...

If you are having trouble finding the Hercules in your list of planes.,. check the status of your historical filter it needs to be off or it will not apear in the list along with lots of other stuff..
