  1. Doh... Had this problem about two month ago, too. Haven't checked since, but from your post, at least someone has the same problem, too. Let's hope, someone has a solution for this.
  2. Cool thing - really eager to learn more about it. Hopefully not too much increase in field-of-view, so that the image is getting a lot sharper.
  3. Ah - Ok! Thanks for the info!
  4. Uh - Maybe I was unclear. I had no problem in multiplayer - everything was fine. The problem was in single player, when I still had radio chatter from the server I was minutes before. In multiplayer it was an F-5 and in singleplayer the Spitfire with no specific radio configured.
  5. Hi! Sorry, if this question/bug is maybe mentioned above - didn't found it with a brief search... I attended a multiplayer session and SRS was automatically configured to the server - cool :-)!. After leaving the server and starting a single player session, SRS was still active and I received the chatter of the guys in the MP-session even as I was flying locally on my own. Is there a way to disable this? The same as SRS is connecting automatically, I would expect it to disconnect after leaving the mp-session. Regards, Matthias
  6. Can confirm the anticipation :-)! It's really missing! A will for sure give it a try, when it's done!
  7. Even liking NTTR more then Caucasus, I would suggest the latter, as it is more spread, I think.
  8. Simplified version would be, if the headmovement would be more accurate - I'm missing looking up and down. In addition to this, simple gestures with the hands would be great. It's more for the fun on the ground.
  9. I had the same problem. DCS is not consistent about it's Save Game directory. The savegame dcs uses was still called "C:\Users\Phil\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha", for whatever reason. Maybe someone knows why. After putting the Scripts directory there, it worked! In addition I turned off Windows Firewall beforehand and haven't turned it on again since, so this may affect it, too. But turning off Windows Firewall alone did not help. I will check later with Firewall turned on. Nevertheless, the main problem for me was the wrong Saved Games directory.
  10. Same for me. I can live with the stock setting (IPD off) but would like to check it with the proper IPD. But as Axelerator mentiones, the menu behavior is quite straining, so it's no option for me currently.
  11. The value for the IPD - what unit is it? The default in WAGS screenshot - 555 - doesn't really make sense. Only if it's some internal unit. Has anyone tried this with some real world IPD of maybe 65mm?
  12. A second sensor gave me a better tracking. I set it up with one left and one on the right side of the desk and with this I was able to turn my head without getting flips or whatever. The touch controller are not needed with the second sensor, it will work without the touch. Nevertheless, I bought the touch version, as the price was not much higher for the 2 touch + 1 sensor combo instead of the sensor alone and in addition you can give VR games or VR experiences (whatever you want to call it) a try, which require some hand controller input. Valve's THE LAB is just fun.
  13. I haven't checked with DCS itself, but I know this problem from before in any sim and even the home construct of oculus. I do have these problems when returning from hibernate. Some service is not recocknized properly. Head rotation is tracked, but no movement. (movement is done by the cameras, rotation is also tracked by the headset itself). Just doing a reboot helps for me. Regards, Matthias
  14. What do you mean by this? There is an option to enable mouse in the vr-view, so the mouse pointer is not only moved by head movement, but instead with the mouse in vr. This also works in the F10-map and the mission editor. I guess it's in the VR submenu. I'm not at the PC, so I can't check from here, sorry. I does work, as I am using it this way (with mouse movable mouse pointer) all the time.
  15. You have to play with the settings - I mean, start with the lowest possible and work your way up, one type of setting at once, so you can judge the difference. I prefere having the Pixel Density set to 1.0, and multisampling turned on, as this gives better spotting. With higher PD you won't be able to spot any aircraft, as the dots are not visible any more. Especially a problem in normandy with radarless WWII aircraft. Regards, Huzzle
  16. Copy that! Thought about the same. Mission planning is no fun in VR. So to just start up a simple mission in VR, you have to either work yourself through the bad resolution mission editor and start from there, or start DCS in non-vr mode, edit the mission, close DCS, restart DCS with VR and load mission. Assetto Corsa has this kind of "put your helmet on" implementation, and I really like it! Regards, Huzzle
