1) Please explain? 2) Will fix this 3) ??? Boarding ladder? 4) None of the antenna's are white. It's the contrast in the sim. They are actually all the stock color. I'll look closer at the photos for this. 5) Copy will fix this. Glaring error on my part! 6) These are the actual Russian Stars on the real bird - But I can downgrade for this paint... 7) ??? Please show me... 8) Will look at the photos 9) Another glaring error on my part.... 10) Can't fix this. This is the actual positioning of the dynamic BORT numbering system so that you can all use this bird in MP and each pilot gets his own number. This will remain unchanged.

But we don't have such devices on our HOME PC's....so it's kind of silly to make the AP NOT engage unless you're at 0.000 "force" since all joysticks setups are not equal. This would give the widest user base the most workable solution, and still be completely real. There's 100% absolutely no chance, you or I or ANYONE would know the difference if they allowed some slack in the tolerance of the AP turning on so that most users could still use the most sensitivity in their controller inputs. This makes the most sense. Logically and from a practical standpoint, as I'm willing to bet that about 99% of us are not using something more expensive than a TM warthog as our controller. This is a pretty reasonable request. In my view this is a bug. I've beta tested for other developers for more than 6 years now and this would be changed for simply user friendliness since we're not in a real hornet pit. It will literally have ZERO effect on those who for some reason think it should remain. I bet you wouldn't notice or care if it is implemented. I bet there's already a TON of features that are compromised to afford user friendly interface vs strict reality...simply because we have to use a mouse to interface with the jet...anyway...that's my plea! Thanks for listening!

However they do, It makes no difference to me, I just think that adjusting the tolerance would enable both AP and stick sensitivity to be sympatico.

Currently there must be zero load on the flight controls for the AP to engage and capture the mode. This requires many of us to have to add stick deadzone. Some more than others. While this night seem ok, it actually reduced response time to stick inputs. Would it be possible to increase the threshold of the AP? Allow a +.5g tolerance? This would allow us to not have to choose between whether stick input or AP is more important to us; and both systems would work. Thanks for your consideration ED.

+1 this has been done in many other Devs in different Sims in order to give pilot feedback in a system where most pilots don't have an actual detent as an immersion factor and ultimately a pilot aid to give some sensory feedback where none currently exists. I think this should be standard on all your stuff. It's not unrealistic, and it's very helpful. Great request.

yes, I did this as well. Good idea.
-
Ok--- Disregard, 5 is the magic number! AP now works as it should! Thank you guys for all the help!
-
Tried adding dead zone. NO JOY. AP doesn't work at all.
-
Ok -- I will try this. Interesting if so many people are having this issue that it's in the guide, perhaps the best solution would be to give the AP engagement as little more tolerance? Just a siggestion ED...that would improve both AP reports and stop people from complaining that their stick is less sensitive.

Speaking of Auto Pilot - - Mine will not engage at all. No modes. Here's what happens: On the UFC: AP>ON/OFF Button>Select Mode = Aircraft just stays in whatever Attitude it's in momentarily, but gradually will decend and back to whichever side it rolled into most. The control surfaces become locked up. I can override with large stick input or via paddle switch disengage. I get the ":" next to the mode I'm selecting, but the mode does not operate. Period. I can operate the UFC functionality correctly, but he AP simply doesn't do what it should in any mode. What happens is the flight controls lock up in position. When I disengage the AP, the Flight controls come back without issue, but I only get he master caution about 10% of the time with tone alerting me to the disconnect. I've also tried doing: AP>Mode select>ON/OFF. No combination works. All the symbology appears correctly though. I'm pretty sure it's user error somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it. Any ideas?

I'm glad those are just nits, and not full sized bugs! LOL! Well, if you follow my F-86 paints I try to strive for accuracy so I guess you've created more work for me! Truth be told, when I originally started this I had no idea that a VFC -12 RL version existed. My plan had been to produce a replica of the real Su-34 and not of the VFC bird... Though it's clearly based on this jet. I'll see what I can do.

If I get some time I want to make a vintage looking bird....but first I'm going to do the YF-17 Blue Scheme.

Well, imagine if these lines had been drawn up in 1959....what if? Was messing around with the Roughmets this evening...

That's because they're rasterized. Every layer appears to be. It's the easiest way to keep it simple and keep the file size down. So the answer is, no you can't. It's not text. It's a non vector image.

Glad you're all interested! Uploading now! ;)

Ok so sounds like, unless I want to use the stock plain tanks, there's no way to reference another texture folder like you do in P3D.... That's what I thought. Just checking. I will go ahead and make the tanks now! Thanks.
-
So, I don't want to recreate the wheel, but I will.if required...what's the policy in using existing stock textures? The VFC-12 from what I can tell all use interchangeably, the same drop tanks. So the current stock splinter paint has these drop tanks. Is there a way to point my livery to use those drop tank textures from the stock paint? Would save space by using a pre-existing texture and not doubling up.

Guys no colors have changed from screen shot to screen shot. This is the lighting engine of the sim. What has changed is the time of day and weather. There's 2 blue colors that the RuAF uses on the full back. Both are used in the overall blue scheme. Only one is used in the 2 tone scheme here.

Thanks! The "012" on the tail is definitely a bort number, since I didn't paint that on ;). And it's variable to anything I type in the armament panel in the ground.
-
99% Complete....Currently have BORT Enabled. Can anyone tell me which set of BORT numbers are the Tail tips? (the ones in the white on the tail in these pics).
-
No bites....no worries.....I found it. Trial and error!

Anyone know where on the texture sheet this dark grey flap fairing located?
