[NO BUG] ICLS knob & textures are not aligned
MRSHADO replied to viper2097's topic in Bugs and Problems
That knob reminds me of a LOT of knobs in military aircraft. They get a little loose over time (not years, days) and will develop a little so-called, "play" in them, where it meanders between two (2) positions without physically violating the wrong detent. In fact, the knob on my throttle that I use to replicate that panel developed the same, exacting looseness. (not offering an excuse, just loudly appreciating the irony) :) -

AN/APX-72 [1st] Code Selector Thumbwheel Inoperative. [2nd-3rd-and-4th] MODE 3/A Code Selector Thumbwheels works using both left/right mouse clicks and sequences both ways from 0-to-7. [1st] MODE 3/A Code Selector Thumbwheel is stuck on 0 and does not move. It does however, register a corresponding change in MODE 3 within LotATC. (Low-Low-Low priority obviously, but some of our RIOs were tinkering around with future squawk integration).

"PRESET" and :GUARD" ARC 159 Pilot Controls Switched
MRSHADO replied to Bearfoot's topic in Bugs and Problems
Almost there, but not quite... :) "PRESET" and "GUARD" Pilot Controls Switched, but slightly different from the post above - and I think relevant here instead of separate post. 1) The AN/ARC-159 radio display window does not correspond to current MODE selected. [see pictures] 2) With MANUAL selected, choosing the appropriate radio option in the ATC window (F1, F2, etc.) will change the ARC-159 MODE switch to back PRESET - in this case 243.000. This was tested on the F-14B_IA_Syria_CASE1_SC Instant Action Mission [DCS_2.5.6.54046 - 26 August 2020] EDIT: Issue #2 occurs only when "Radio Assist" is selected in DCS Options. -
How much hard disk space does dcs syria map require?
MRSHADO replied to huchanronaa's topic in DCS: Syria Map
Wow. Gonna have to make some room. -
How about we close this thread? Post a link to the video, leave your comments on YouTube and move on.

Jetmar, As this deals with DCS' ATC/AI functionality and the Stennis, you may consider moving your question to DCS World 2.5 » Bugs and Problems » AI.

"PRESET" and :GUARD" ARC 159 Pilot Controls Switched
MRSHADO replied to Bearfoot's topic in Bugs and Problems
SAME. (I almost produced an identical post) Additionally... DCS Version 2.5.6.52437 - 22 July 2020 UHF ARC-159 Mode INC cycles between MANUAL and GUARD only. UHF ARC-159 Mode DEC cycles between MANUAL and PRESET only. I've been working around this since release and its no big deal (there are more important things I'm sure) but figured it was due to report. -
Is the cockpit lighting supposed to look like this?

It looks fantastic and I can't even imagine the work that went into it. I think it was well worth the wait also. Thanks ED team.

I'm getting desperate now. Who do I have to pay, bribe, beg or trade with to get an Blue/Grey Camo F-16N TOPGUN livery? (Nope, not USAF Aggressors, not NSAWC, Not Fictional) Somewhere back on page 18-19 someone said they might.

Nealius, I was a step away from arrogantly making a video demonstrating coordinated turns, but I think you're right! The ball on the lower end of the Turn-and-Slip Indicator appears to be behaving backwards in turns. I'm don't think it was always this way - perhaps something has changed with recent updates, but I do believe you are correct.

I gotta say, whether or not the DDD turns out to be the problem, that was pure genius! -
[RESOLVED] SLOW FPS on RIO seat after 2.5.6 update
MRSHADO replied to Renko's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yep  Can confirm turning WCS to OFF relieves the severe FPS latency in the RIO seat (VR) instantly. I am not too good at grabbing framerates - perhaps someone can verify that with some fps numbers for the team - but with my specs (below), the RIO cockpit goes from unusable to normal! -
[RESOLVED] SLOW FPS on RIO seat after 2.5.6 update
MRSHADO replied to Renko's topic in Bugs and Problems
+1 (plus one other that has finished the 2.5.6 update) Pretty much unusable in VR. In the process of verifying it's none of the above, but my gut says this is definitely an issue. -
I believe you.
