55X is default TACAN for the Stennis. To set TACAN on your HSI, do the following: On UFC, press TCN, then press ON/OFF, press CLR to clear the default number, and press 55 and press enter, while making sure your UFC has T/R and X chosen. Next, go to your HSI on DDI or AMPCD, and press TCN which is one of the options of OSB on AMPCD/DDI. Now your TACAN should be set. He sets his course line as the carrier's course (not offset of angled deck) for situational awareness reasons. So he knows when he is on line with it and when he is opposite the bearing. Lastly, ATC, just press it at the speed you want it to hold and it'll hold that. Too much pitching up and down will not hold it very steadily.

Another mistake, not typo, is they switched the AoA indexer lights, too fast and fast are mixed I believe.

I noticed that for my pedals, I had to invert the wheel brakes as they were applying for me when I wasn't pressing them down, but not applying when I put down my foot. That is one possible explanation

Can most definitely hear the difference, I guess Boeing did update the sounds, a southern touch you could say :) Also your critique of the flaps situation pulling you straight down is great, Wags thankfully acknowledged it and said they are working on it, it's been giving me a real hard time with it lol, that sudden nose-dive! Your video was fantastic in any case, and ignore those who doubt you, it is very obvious, if it wasn't before, your legitimacy. You are quite the only one to point out that flaps issue, and you turned out correct, and so with the Betty thing, only people who've had real time with the Hornet could have known that. Mind that this is a 2005 Lot 20. Boeing most probably updated Betty's voice, after all, she isn't there for a one time job! IIRC it was an engineer at Boeing who's voice was used, so it would make sense that it is with every lot that they update the voice, and even if she wasn't an engineer, I'd presume they update the voice every time as well.

Great video, only thing that I found incorrect was the statement about Betty not being the original one when in fact the sound files were taken directly from Boeing in the making of this module.

First off, make sure of the code that you are using is the same as JTAC. That is LSS code and the code on your bomb. LSS code is the code for the laser searcher, while the bomb code is obviously for the bomb to follow the laser with that code. After you find the laser, the TGP should display LTRACKL. After that, make SPI, and all you need to do is pickle. Keep in mind that GBU-12 CEP is a few metres so it won't always hit right on target. My understanding of this at least.

The Hornet will dominate in BVR because of it's SA, AMRAAMs, and a whole host of things it can do when it comes to ECM. WVR, performance wise, they will be an almost equal match, the F/A-18 is highly maneuverable, but i think it will have a bit of an advantage due to JHCMS and Aim-9X.
