  1. The emergency brake only switches from the right to the left hydraulic system if I recall correctly. So if you don't have either hyd sys available, the emergency brake is useless as well.
  2. Hey that looks veeeery familiar! :D Looks great! Keep it going!
  3. Fair enough :) (Have you got a Ka-50 stick with my name on it already? :music_whistling: )
  4. This :) If Hegykc were to start a kickstarter - I would definitely back it.
  5. :megalol:  LOL So just because one shot you down you hate the thing? Interesting logic :P That's why you should always keep a good lookout, even though you are RTB.
  6. I've just upgraded from a GTX570 to a GTX970 (Gigabyte, 4G-OC version). (Yes I've been naughty and not removed previous drivers..) The difference for me was significant! I have not tried it in a combat mission with loads of smoke and that stuff, but just flying around, the difference is amazing. Where with the 570 I was getting ~40~50 FPS, I'm now getting 100~120.
  7. I went from a AMD 955 to a Intel 4670k. Big difference. It was a good while ago so I don't remember the performance before/after, but I do remember the difference being very significant.
  8. Not *just* the air intakes :P:music_whistling:
  9. Yes definitely get pedals. I'm using the Saitek Combat rudder pedals. So far I'm pretty satisfied with them. Pretty much my only problem with them is the following: The amount of force required to operate the toebrakes is (far) too low. It's acceptable, but imho too low. I have not explored on how to increase the force required (if at all possible..), because the pedals are buried deep in my cockpit, and it'll take a good amount of time to extract them. So for the time being I'm leaving them in. Another mayor reason I went for the combat pedals (for example) versus the other Saitek pedals is the fact you have your feet on the floor, and not completely on the pedals themselves. This was a mayor requirement for me, ergonomics wise.
  10. That depends on the mission running. In the mission file there might be a "config" folder. It should not be there on server side! If it is, all the files therein will be overwritten to the client side. The fix for that is very easy. Open the .miz file in winrar and simply delete the config folder. This way, no matter how the client has his views setup, it will not be overwritten. The .miz file should only have the relevant files in it for the mission.
  11. Try this: 1 - Go to grooveshark.com in chrome (haven't tried in other browsers) 2 - Open "Developer Tools" (CTRL+SHIFT+I) 3 - Click on "Resources" Tab 4 - Expand "Local Storage" tree 5 - Click on "http://grooveshark.com[1] " 6 - Find the key that looks something like "Library32467954" (some 7+ digit number) 7 - Look at its "value" (it's a JSON string). You should see something like this "{"lastModified":.....blah blah some artist name... 8 - Right-Click on that cell, click "Edit Value", then hit CTRL+C (Copy) 9 - Paste the contents of your clipboard into the window @ https://json-csv.com/[2] 10 - Download the resulting .CSV file in Open Office or Excel
  12. :shocking::worthy: How's the spring tension and the travel distance for the toebrakes?
  13. Yep! Looking forward to this one! :D
  14. :shocking: Fantastic work man!
  15. A-10A *could* use the TGP if I recall correctly. Correct by Jaypee: look for those differences. Also, don't the A-10C's lack the Pave Penny? (Yes I know they are present in the current DCS itteration)
  16. Check out the 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron. Very laid back bunch of guys overal - who can be very serious from time to time :P And yes, we accept complete noobs. Everyone is welcome :) Hop on our TS for a chat, you can find the adress here: http://www.shreksquadron.org/

  19. Recently bought the MiG, while having had the 86 for a longer time (since release time). If I'd be presented with the choice now, I'd go for the MiG.
  20. Agreed!!! Really looking forward to the finished product! You can count on at LEAST a Ka-50 stick for me :D *hint**cough**cough**hint* :music_whistling: Damn if you really are going to pick up production as you are indicating in your post above you'll have a golden business I think. Especially if the prices you indicate will be real. Keep it up!
