  2. the A.I/detection on course finding on the PG map is terrible, maybe that's why theres more missions on other maps. I have tried 4 diff places so far to make missions which involves a vehicle travelling through towns to the sea, every one the car gets to go around in circles somewhere on the route in the end getting stuck in a house or something. its like the pathfinding does not actually know where the roads or buildings are
  3. this is what I mean rivers just done go from or out to sea, anywhere on the map, and there's the clipping issue with the water
  4. is there anything in todays patch not listed? harrier etc? if not I wont need to bother with this one :)

  7. i think the problem is height maps? if you look at the coast, the waves come through the land when you close to the shore, maybe that's it?
  8. ah ok thanks Rudel, hopefully thatl work. is there a way to get around not being able to place units where you want in a harbour..ships. or is it a matter of just trial and error
  9. hey guys, I'm making a mission where a small boat goes out to a bigger one, now the problems....I think with triggers, small one activates by unit in zone then bigger ship activates when small one in zone. now every time I run it it seems you cant get boats close to shore on the PG map, as they always start further out than I put them, seems it does not know there are harbours, but oh well. my problem is when I start the big ship is already moving and I had no idea why, then I noticed its visible area? the yellow circle that surrounds it, so I assume it already thinks the other unit is near? if that's the case can I reduce this yellow circle zone?

  11. it does seem to make a difference if you just edit the lua back...or forwards to the new way, the textures are all correct and less shiny

I posted about this a while ago, but still cannot get them to appear at all. preload is maximum, but I don't think that's the problem, its fine in every other map. sometimes in the distance I can see the slight inkling of a river, but itl gradually fade away as I get close. main canals/waterways are fine, but normal rivers and deltas are just never there. anyone else get this or know how I could resolve it?

  14. i don't think you get it, I'm sick of hearing you must do this and that because it may offend someone, this world is getting like a nanny state, get over it and start living a normal lfe like we all used to, just get along. the pilot issue is YOU flying, whether your male female whatever, its you, so the voice is wrong, big deal its just a game
  15. guys, haven't played the a4 since last dcs update, now its the only plane that head tracking not working?
  16. if its just a .miz file then add it to your savegames/mission folder, you will see others in there

  18. mmm I have it in savegame/mods tech where my others are but nothing showing in latest dcs version, any ideas?

  22. just change the one file to .dds and delete the .bmp works fine then...and thank you :)
  23. been like it a while, as with the 8 and the shark
  24. cant see the dials properly but as above, you have it on max continually, also pre flight not done completely, so may have missed something else
