  1. fixed I think in update
  2. thatl be pretty cool to chase down with some spits, good luck with it
  3. ah ok, I know when I was in one it seemed soooo much faster :)I know it wasn't as quick as the mustang but thought it was a bit faster. just had a furball of about 8-10 109s over Caen with same number of spits, she does turn better than the stang just gotta push the red zone :)
  4. is the spit so much slower than the mustang? in the stang, you can fly along ground level ish say 500ft at around 350-380, that's normal manifold pressure,2800 and 5000rpm in the spit, same conditions around 8 on the boost rpm 2800 does about 240,260 at best. so do I need to continually use up to 3000 and 12psi to get that speed? or is she just a much slower bird? I know top speed is around the 400 mark, so is it safe to put more power for general running around? is the damage model to the engine in DCS?
  5. or turn the gamma all the way up, bit of a cheat and itl look like black n white....night vision...ish
  6. we seem to have a lot of bugs about with this version, hopefully next patch will sort it
  7. no one else notice this?
  8. that's the right menu option, there was a thread a while back about you needing to do something in mission editor to get them to work, the mi8 loading/unloading is obviously not working on the huey, strange as there's a mission in the download user files called huey playground and I'm sure they worked in that....haven't tried latest version though, if I get a chance ill try later, hopefully someone else can chime in here ? :)
  9. oh please give us better AI, on missions in the huey as example they are a pain to do if you need to follow a lead, hes up an down like a jack rabbit, left n right fast n slow, far more difficult than it needs be
  10. you would need to use the descent menu, comms then look down for descent if near troops/embark if there not on yet, its very buggy in the mi8/not working, seems ok in the huey on missions
  11. mmm, dunno, I already have that folder but no -25 folder at all?
  12. no its not, its been in many a war zone, not just for defence
  13. I done the whole campaign a little while ago with no probs, I take it you tried again?
  14. were you by any-chance hit at the time?
  15. my wingmen are always saying bingo fuel, then sometimes ejecting. I rarely get 1/3 of the way round a patrol without the problem?
  16. was gonna post about this, glad someone has, I ran a repair as I thought I messed something up. its like the jet roar in the distance, sounds horrid when your in a prop plane
  17. funny asked something similar a while ago, doesn't seem to be anything around at the moment
  18. I would prefer the delan clip or as mentioned above the one on here, the cap can be a pain with headphones
  19. rather than a new map as such, extending the Normandy map would be nice as well
  20. track ir and monitor/big tv, prefer every time than vr
  21. always been on either usb3 or powered hub no problem, I believe the 3 puts out slightly more power as when I run a lot of stuff on a 2 like a big hub the end ones wont work, but they do if plugged into a 3 outlet
  22. yea I would love a WWII era map, to me Normandy is ok but its a very boring place, too flat! in one respect Nevada is better, with valleys to fly through, but if we get the Corsair maybe a south pacific map
  23. na don't fancy taking down a hoard of nazgul
  24. I know it never went away, BUT there was always a bit of why bother to use it if you have the hog, but recently I see more and more scripts being available and used more without the why bother comments. I could never get on with even though I think its more useful as it will allow more key uses, and files such as HomeFries excellent utility are great. many of you using target? as it wont mess up my personal settings I'm quite tempted to go and re learn them again for certain modules
