  1. that's the right menu option, there was a thread a while back about you needing to do something in mission editor to get them to work, the mi8 loading/unloading is obviously not working on the huey, strange as there's a mission in the download user files called huey playground and I'm sure they worked in that....haven't tried latest version though, if I get a chance ill try later, hopefully someone else can chime in here ? :)
  2. oh please give us better AI, on missions in the huey as example they are a pain to do if you need to follow a lead, hes up an down like a jack rabbit, left n right fast n slow, far more difficult than it needs be
  3. you would need to use the descent menu, comms then look down for descent if near troops/embark if there not on yet, its very buggy in the mi8/not working, seems ok in the huey on missions
  4. mmm, dunno, I already have that folder but no -25 folder at all?
  5. no its not, its been in many a war zone, not just for defence
  6. I done the whole campaign a little while ago with no probs, I take it you tried again?
  7. my wingmen are always saying bingo fuel, then sometimes ejecting. I rarely get 1/3 of the way round a patrol without the problem?
  8. was gonna post about this, glad someone has, I ran a repair as I thought I messed something up. its like the jet roar in the distance, sounds horrid when your in a prop plane
  9. funny asked something similar a while ago, doesn't seem to be anything around at the moment
  10. I would prefer the delan clip or as mentioned above the one on here, the cap can be a pain with headphones
  11. rather than a new map as such, extending the Normandy map would be nice as well
  12. track ir and monitor/big tv, prefer every time than vr
  13. always been on either usb3 or powered hub no problem, I believe the 3 puts out slightly more power as when I run a lot of stuff on a 2 like a big hub the end ones wont work, but they do if plugged into a 3 outlet
  14. yea I would love a WWII era map, to me Normandy is ok but its a very boring place, too flat! in one respect Nevada is better, with valleys to fly through, but if we get the Corsair maybe a south pacific map
  15. na don't fancy taking down a hoard of nazgul
  16. I know it never went away, BUT there was always a bit of why bother to use it if you have the hog, but recently I see more and more scripts being available and used more without the why bother comments. I could never get on with even though I think its more useful as it will allow more key uses, and files such as HomeFries excellent utility are great. many of you using target? as it wont mess up my personal settings I'm quite tempted to go and re learn them again for certain modules
  17. gonna be pretty boring if its all water, wow lovely scenery, look another wave :)
  18. really, didn't realise there would be a difference in the stick you own. makes sense now how we all do it different, wonder why the hardware makes a difference in game?
  19. not at all, down allows you to keep stick back to gain momentum, stops the bird going up to soon and "ballooning, and allows you to push forward onto 2 wheels to gain speed, no coxing needed, see the runway and take-off smoothly, but of course each to their own :)
  20. indeed, as I am landing I trim up to keep her straight an have less movement on the stick. once landed after flaps n gear down, it will be near that position, so its like when you get in again that's where it would be
  21. the unit itself, the pilot gets enough vibration :)
  22. ok, having a hard timing reading as on my phone with cracked screen sorry, but I see no mention of the pilots brake, down on the floor? a lot of steps there are necessary really, I'm sure there's a training section on starting the 8 on dcs?
