  1. hey guys, been using opentrack for about a year, but recently with getting a warbird I have noticed a problem. looking behind and left no probs, back of seat is far enough behind, but looking right it seems to zoom in so you just have a rear view of a headrest. this is confirmed if you look at the octopuss :) how can I stop the zoom in on looking behind and right?
  2. thanks Uboats, much easier this way
  3. no worries mate, these things can and will happen :)
  4. that's a shame as its a lovely looking module
  5. I am by no means a A/A pilot, have always been a ground pounder, but I love the stang. so, air to air for me is pretty alien, but in both the dogfight scenarios I have beaten the 190, and the 109, not all the time but an 80% success I would say. my problem is I think she turns to slow then flips over, but that is due to inexperience flying her too slow, not watching all the gauges, now......I have started to use combat flaps!!
  6. asked before but maybe wrong place, is it possible to run 2 sound mods for different modules, as when I try to install a second it says about it will overwrite a file?
  7. its similar to the x-29 apart from it hasn't got the forward swept wings, unless its artists rendition maybe?
  8. spoke too soon, unless I never noticed on some, dam, lets hope it gets fixed on update tomorrow maybe?
  9. I hope theres not too much at STEAK!
  10. little problem, cant remember exact name as I'm out but on the F1 ct, when firing the AS missile? it crashes dcs?
  11. thanks guys, didn't know if there were any user mods for some, couldn't find any hence my ask, but thank you :)
  12. funny really how these sort of things don't affect us all
  13. are there any ww2 bombers for AI/ww2 asset pack like the Mitchel/liberator/marauder ?
  14. I don't use any, but its personal preference really. they wont really help you slow down just possibly make your controls slower/longer. just practise coming in then trimming up to slow down and take care of collective, you will get it in the end
  15. fine here, maybe try a repair, is it on all skins for you?
  16. is the external tanks also bugged? as when I try and switch to them the engine cuts out? if they drew straight into the main/wing tanks then there's no point to the cockpit switch over. also there is mention in the manual that the fuselage tank gauge is behind the pilot? where? as that also cuts out the engine when switched too. seems I only have wing tanks
  17. I did have a problem with this at first, my fault though, when assigning a button for my hotas to comms, I chose the com menu, but it should be the mike switch on the throttle, after changing that all is fine
  18. funny just tried this as been playing another module for a while, and it all seems ok for me, even crashed it a few times on purpose, never crashed DCS at all
  19. doings some lovely new liveries, cheers Eight Ball
  20. crikey!! really? where did all this come from, looks excellent work too, good job mate, looking forward to trying these, any idea when?
  21. have you checked in your settings page yet?
  22. ok, just a silly one as still pretty new to the stang, how are you using diff speeds for rpm/manifold, as mine work together, and can only lock the rpm lever so is that what you do or is there a setting I have missed in options
  23. thanks for this, more pressies at xmas, great work guys
  24. thanks for the lights again ED, maybe simple but we like it :)
  25. yes thank you guys for answers, captain, I have done the landing tut a few times but as I said there is no mention in the tutorial or manual about locking the rpm and I think isn't tht the only way to keep the rpm high and the manifold lower? I still have found it easier to land the reapers way as I would with any other plane, but yea she is very twitchy to increases in throttle when slow. I think as you say the key here is obviously practise, and not concentrate on manifold pressure as much as rpm, its the bounce that's worse for me, is that generally to quick descent?
