  1. As a campaign cretor, I wish i would have that much power to be able to make DCS crash. That is not the case. Every thing in that campaign is done with standard DCS tools, every trigger, line of script, voice file, skin is done according to the DCS specs, if a mission is crashing there are two possibilities, one more likely than other. 1 your computer can't handle the load, I don't think that's the case, as these missions are not very heavy load wise. I tried to keep them as light as possible. 2 most likely scenario, you have a mod that somehow triggers that crash. I'm not against mods in any way but i have seen exactly the same behaviour when using mods. Also, a crash like that should generate an error log, that error log should be submitted to ED, they are the ones responsible for the core DCS. I worl with their platform and with their constraints. Also you could send that error log my way so at least i have a vague idea of what's going on. Cheers,

  4. I checked this one. The results are based on you being alive and the enemy fighters being neutralized. I have some safeguards to destroy them by magic when the time is right, but one of it may have failed. I'll look more into the logic. Funny enough that when i'm testing it it works. somehow TOT or your pace maybe is throwing off some AI, not that you are doing anything wrong, it's just one of the DCS AI things. I'll dig deeper into it.

  6. Did you got jumped by the enemy planes? Or you just did your bomb run and that's it, with the mission load out there was no way to get 12 vehicles in one pass. I think this went off the script.

TOO would always be the safest way to go, to me, from the briefing to mission time, things may change, howerver this is a bug, so I have to cross check the DPMI vs what's on DCS now, probably coordinates shifted a bit.   14. Are you on Open Beta or Stable? I believe I have corrected that a few updates ago, nonetheless I'll check and see if everything is working properly. As for the load outs, APKWS were not available the year this happened. But you can change the load out in the mission planer. I did not restricted that.

You can change your loadout anyway you can, that's why i put bombs and rockets, depending on what your streghts are. to me, from the IP flying as low as possible and as fast as possible is the way to go. one pass should deal with everything as they explode with more violence than normal in DCS. You may be caught in the explosion if you are not fast enough.

Just to motorized vehicles are part of the convoy, so the Shilka, and the ZSU's on trucks, and the supply trucks, the MANPADS are not part of the convoy, keep in mind that the MANPADS don't have resuply, so once they shoot they are pretty much done. It helps to pre-flare or to make a dummy run on them very fast to locate them and make them bite, this way you won't be focused on your attack and the convoy won't disperse, one pass is all you need, by now you should be surgical with your rockets and gun, or go with bombs the first time then, pick them up with rockets,
  20. Thanks, and no worries, please keep posting here when you are sturggling, thanks for flying this campaign, although it's old, i'm still happy that folks are going at it. So, the objectives are. One radar at the first site and the two radars at the second SAM site that should be targeted by the F-4's. With all the AI changes that happened in the past 2 years, the AI behaviour changes pretty much with each update. I know they are engaging the targets eventually, but it's a matter or timing, and many times they are late, depending on where you are catching them in their orbit, and probably by the moon cycle of whatever other stelar events in the world. Taking care of business for them it's the way to go, since you are low and going towards them anyway. The AI works best in the F-5 with cover me or "mission and rejoin" but the best results i had with cover me, as they go and engage SAM's that way, since they are a threat to you. Once again, thanks for playing it and I'm happy for any feedback that I get. When ED will do a re-work on the F-5 I'll do a major overhaul for this campaign, pretty much re-writing it from scratch.   23. If it's becoming a pain, you can skip it, there's no shame in that, use the mountains for cover, that's how i do it.

If you think about how Vietnam was, and this was ment to be a recreation on how AA was in Vietnam, that's how it was, you were ingresing on the target and you face flak. preflaring helps with the IR missiles. But it's pretty much one run and hit the target and get out. If you want to come back use terain cover and maybe different angles, these missions are doable, not easy, but doable.
