investigating Won't let me progress to 2nd mission

If the player wishes to skip the mission, they will select the mission in the mission list, and click the skip mission button. Each mission displayed on the list can be selected, and the briefing will be displayed in the right hand window. Currently the image in the top right will remain as the main campaign image. -

This is not something that's under my control, if the mission score is 100 it should progress, I'm afraid you will have to skip it for now. I'll report this to the ED guys and see what they can come up with. Cheers, -
That's a bug with ED. I'm trying to escalate it, it happened with other campaigns but i don't have a resolution, unfortunately.

Following the road, you should have had a few messages as you recce several clearings, then you should have found more things, i don't want to spoil it all away. If you feel that you are lost why not using the kneeboard and drop a carrot there and get your bearings. Navigation is hard anyway and navigation by map and compass is not easy. Mission 5, you are right, easy to implement and add it. NBD is due to my stupidity. I added 650 in the trigger and not 0.65 as it should be and it carried over to the missions that use it. Update is on the way for that already. Thanks a lot for your feedback, much appreciated. Also, looking at the docs i see that the innitial doc is missing. I'll re-send it. Cheers,

It is not writing somewhere properly. I'll start the campaign, skip it to the Handy Wind mission, fly it and see what happens on my end.

Yeah, that, showing the 100 score, and then trying to play the next mission. Because I can't reproduce it on my end. Do you have a different localization on your DCS install? Is it in another language?

Hi guys, I have found a bug in the mission 10. This one is human error I published a version that was used for testing so it's an air start. You can have the updated version here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fj-jU9bQtCZkieoq39y3eHO3dTM4CGiw/view?usp=sharing just replace it in your DCS World\Mods\campaigns\UH-1H The Huey Last Show folder, i will send it to ED to push it in their next update. Also I start introducing an action that will slow down time when a radio call happens or if there's any other comms, this way flying with time accell makes it easier. This is thanks to @Sedlo one of the most amazing mission and campaign creators. This change will be introduced on all of my missions. As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated. Cheers, SorelRo

That's correct, although UH-1 doesn't have TACAN capabilities there is a TACAN station there. Also there is a ADF beacon that is also available in the briefing. -
What do you mean by scripting the mission? The campaign engine is verry simple, once you hit the passing score, in this case 100 the next mission should be available, this campaign is linear, the next mission should be available if it is in the correct folder. I tested on my end i have no problem. I'll ask the guys at ED if they have seen anything like this. As i was saying there may be some error with the localization of DCS. I remember some tester at ED had a similar problem, but it's not something that I can fix unfortunately.

I'll test it, can you skip it in the campaign menu? This may be a DCS bug rather than the campaign. I'll test it none the less. I remember that when it was submitted to ED they had some problems with localization, this may be related. I'll dig a but deeper.

Just remember to "keep it moving" If you read Chickenhawk, that's pretty much the bible of every helicopter pilot, it's being said there many times that you have to constantly move your helicopter around, and throughout this campaign you will learn to dodge 23 mm shells, as long as you see them there's a big chance you can move around them. Also make sure that you aim properly and not waste ammo, also door gunners are your friend, they are failry accurate, (they are setup for 100% skill) and if you go fast they can still aim quite well.

There is no reason to have to go back and re-arm, you should be able to deal with everything with the rockets and flex guns and the door gunners. The trucks will happily go up and explode, helping you with that. I hope you don't have any mods about explosions as i'm not sure how those triggers will react to them. Once again, the updated version that i have posted here should work okay, you can always help the cobra's with your door gunners, and ask 2 to cover you. Cheers,

You need to know the airframe really well, and the campaign is over 3 years old now. So, it needs to go through an overhaul. That's something that I'm planning to do this year.

Hello, Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Any chance you can give me some examples where triggers do not work? I find this quite intriguing, because triggers in any of my missions are based on simple things, the position of your heli, sometimes altitude and speed, previous event and so on. Knowing what it does not work it may be helpful. I am assuming that you are navigating accurate enough to be in the right zones. The zones are quite large. Written dialogues create a huge wall of text and that kills the immersion, since i can't turn subscriptions on or off they will stay as it is, all the needed informations are offered to you in text. I'll review the pdf's for any confusing info's Cheers.

I bet the same thing happened to you, you got hit in the radio, so no convo's can be done after that. I'll have to find a workaround. I'll post an update as soon as possible

I'll test it, see if there's any behaviour changed after the last patch. I'll let you know in a little bit, trigger zones are failry big and if all the enemy is neutralized you should get an RTB message, without having to follow the AFAC back, that should give you the passing score. I'll see how it goes in a test right now.
