Strange, on my side on the cold war map, DCS uses up to 24Gb of RAM, not more.

I finally found the problem: the glideslope frequencies are inverted... I switched them for both runways, of course with 109.60 changed to 109.75 to make it usable and the same for the 110.80 changed to 110.75. Now everything alright. Here a screen on the 7L (109.55), I could made an autoland with the M2000. Now guys, you can set it up correctly in the LUA.

@BealdorDoesn't that really work? I thought it was a real science @Lenux I had some login issue without using the laucher. Just closed it and restarted DCS, and it was fine. Did you try with another aircraft? Do you have a monitoring software, so you can perhaps see something while in game.

Hi I open a new post for the Frankfurt airport as it's ILS is totally broken. First of all, the 109.60 and 110.80 frequencies aren't usable. I made a test by changing them for 109.55 and 110.75 so the F-16 could use them. I made a test on the 25 runway, so there are no modification. But then I had another surprise. In fact the 7L-25R GlideSlope (GS) is broken. It seems to be on the ground. You can compare it below, first 7L-25R and second 7R-25L. I was in active pause so the aircraft didn't move. For the 7L-25R runway, I can fly 30ft above the ground, the needle doesn't go up. By talking of the runway 7R-25L the GS seems to be at the wrong end. In fact if you take look at the screen below the GS on the HUD is way above that what it schould be. It's at the wrong end of the runway.

In fact, I noticed that too. While flying next to the runway, the GS reacted for a couple of seconds. I managed to make Spangdahlem work by pasting the same direction as those from the LOC on the GS.

Hi As the Cold war map is on line, I wonder why at Frankfurt airport for example, when flying the F-16, I set the ILS frequency as noticed in the informztion (109.60), and it's blinking on the DED. In the official documentation, it's written that the freq goes from 108 to 112 MHz, with 5kHz steps.A test with th A-10 were the ILS freq selector is "old school", I checked the frequencies, and here are the kHz values available: .10, .15, .30, .35, .50, .55, .70, .90 and .95. Where are the missing one? Also the 110.70 ILS frequency blinks on the DED of the F-16, as it's unavailable. Is there a reference table of all available ILS frequencies? Thanks

try to make a repair, with all files scan

In fact, I just took a look at Spangdahlem and found 3 Localiser , one called 'SPA' 109.9 direction -75.032 , 'ISPA' 108.1 direction 55.64 and 'ISPE' 109.15 direction -124.38. 2 Glideslope: 'ISPA' 108.1 direction 143.55 'ISPE' 109.15 direction -35.75. If I compare with Batumi, Localiser and Glideslope have the same direction. That explains why they're not working.

Great map, but definitely resource hungry

I noticed something strange, while loading the first time my own mission, I saw the RAM used by DCS going up to 23Gb (64Gb DDR4 installed), and 14Gb VRAM (RX7900XTX 24Gb VRAM), with the GPU around 80-90% use. But the second time I launched it, only 9.5Gb of RAM were used, but the GPU runs at 100% all the time. -
Hi, The F-16 doesn't accept the 109.60 ILS frequency. By the way, the F-16 seems to be limited to 111.95 max for the ILS, so Zweibrücken is out of range (117.10), but for that, it's not due to the map.
-
Hi Just made a flight in the Southwest of the map, and none of the ILS had a glide slope. Tested with Mirage F1, M2000 and F-16 to be sure. Tested on Spangdahlem, Ramstein, Zweibrücken, Frankfurt.
-
Hi Thanks the great job! I noticed that in the information window for Spangdahlem, the TACAN frequency is 100X, but the effective is 32X.

And don't forget Phalsbourg-Bourscheid Air Base, that is in the zone 3 and as an US/French used airbase in the cold war period https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quartier_La_Horie In fact, all airbases, as Strasbourg, Metz and Colmar were all built before and in the cold war time, and used. Here some links to them Strasbourg BA124 (sorry only in french on wiki) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_aérienne_124_Strasbourg-Entzheim#Historique Metz-Frescaty BA128 (in french, as the translated page is poor in information) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_aérienne_128_Metz-Frescaty Colmar-Meyenheim BA132 (in french, as the translated page is poor in information) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_aérienne_132_Colmar-Meyenheim In my opinion, you would make all french pilots happy to have France represented on your great map when you release the phase 3 of this great map.

On my side, it was the cuesta brother Clemenceau who made the ground units disappear

Update out yet, modified the empty version with only wingtips pylons as it is more realistic in my opinion.

Great mod! as their C160, and Fouga Magister that I also have. Hope to see one day such a module in DCS

Both air bases from Nancy (Nancy-Ochey and Toul-Rosière) would be out the zone 3 project.
-
If you want to have a look at all former air bases on the french territory, you can take a look at this site https://remonterletemps.ign.fr/ For example Montmedy-Marville in 1971 aerial photography https://remonterletemps.ign.fr/telecharger/?lon=5.406515&lat=49.453023&z=13.7&layer=pva&pointer=true&year=1971&mission=3211-0021

I didn't know there were so much air bases in the East of France. I wonder what are those things (in yellow), those aren't air bases.
