Well, hope is life

No problem. I'll first try the settings regarding the DCS.exe file. Sadly with AMD it is best to turn almost every option off. First because the drivers are somewhat unstable from times to times and, Second, DCS relies on a very old code. I expect everything to run better when the new core engine will drop.

Note that I run full AMD, CPU and GPU.

Thanks mate. Will try that and report what I find.

Alt+Enter does not enter full screen; stuck in windowed

No, it is not. Unless you consider that downgrading the performance is ''properly'' and ''intended'' ... -
Alt+Enter does not enter full screen; stuck in windowed
84-Simba replied to Nealius's topic in 2D Video Bugs
ED said themselves that they repaired something and that the ''trick'' was no longer needed. In facts, it is still very much needed. So ... simple. Whoever did something regarding this matter should erase what he did and revert back to what it was before. It's so simple to mess with something absolutely vital for a lot of users and then punt the ball back to a third party. Finally, DCS is working on Windows. If there is a problem with Windows ED is responsible to make it work. The question was not that rhetorical though. With the lastest update Windows did blew a few things (regarding master keyboards drivers and other things in that matter) so I suspected Windows first. Then other people said that they rolled back to the previous version of DCS and the alt+enter was working. It is definitely something the guys at ED did and while I respect and praise anyone for constantly pushing it forward, sometimes you have to accept that what you did is not working and revert back. Considering it is a MAJOR performance problem for a lot of users, that subject should, IMO, be in top priority. -
Don't bother with that thread fellows. It is flagged as ''fixed'' so no one will look at it here anymore. Sometimes I think, instead of participating in a single thread, we should flood the related bug section just to make them see how bad a problem is ...

Windows did not remove that feature since you can still go full-screen in the console. ED should revert back ASAP since it is making the game running fairly poorer than it was before. I don't understand that move. That trick was working perfectly for years now. They again broke something that was working while other broken things are still up. They really should put more focus on what the community is reporting (and acknowledge bugs instead of trying to find excuses) and fix what THE CUSTOMER wants ... unless that move was part of a greater core optimization. Safe to say ... it actually failed. -
At least they should have ask or informed the community before. Maybe they found ''that fix'' while working on something else, since they have their hands under the hood for quite sometime now. After all that is the purpose of a beta build. But DCS is so bugged right now, the experience is getting worse and worse

And the performance are still degraded. It definitely runs poorer than it was with the alt+enter thing.

But he says it is not a bug. They consider there was an issue and it is solved while some of us are saying it is not ...

Before the update it was working. When you try it in the console, it's working. It is definitely a DCS problem. ...

Putting the unit with infinite fuel doesn't exit ? I would have bet ... I'll have a look and tell you if I find something.

I definitely took a long time and wasn't in sync with the script since radio messages were sometimes out of ... timing in regard of what I was doing. But I'm almost sure it is my fault and lack of understanding what the sequence of actions should have been. I got thumbleweed a couple of times, notably searching for Mig-24 instead of Mi-24 lol !! It is not a bug then but maybe the seahawk could have infinite fuel so it doesn't block the deck if the player takes too long ?
-
Hi guys ! I ran into something weird in M14, so maybe SPOILER ALERT. Coming for the deck at the end I was very low fuel. Because it is a time of transition between Case I and III DCS sometimes screws things up and you end up turning above waiting for Charlie (you start your pattern in Case I and it changes to Case III without telling you ... happened before) So ... I decided to go for it and found myself with a Seahawk waiting on the deck, engines of and doors opened. I'm lucky I did not miss the wires. Is that a bug or are you supposed to wait in the pattern that that helicopter goes up ? I was reaaaally low on fuel, even after the drink on the way back. @baltic_dragon, did I missed something ?

Cool, thank you. I may have some things to delete because I don't have SRS nor Tacview. Can you post the lua file directly because I suspect the page formatting has messed up the code a little bit ?
-
Anyway. You say you are using TekCreation panels. Do you use them as just input box or you use the DCS Bios sync AND the Simappro sync alltogether ? Because so far I haven't been able to use both.
-
Though you said something wrong. And we are not the only two in this discussion. Cheers.
-
It can. If you use the DCS Plugin for Streamdeck. But it is not directly related. DCS Bios is just export scripts so that external gear or apps can interact with DCS, like : Steamdeck, TekCreation UFCs and panels

Thank you for that information. I'll do some other tests then
