  1. Is so big because it's brings tons of patience for ed community managers
  2. What for? To be blamed when anything is removed, like the list of features of Chinook early access release??
  3. the updates or patches are far from a win-win situation for ED Patch is released, possible outcomes: - the sim becomes unplayable: users complain - the sim is playable but with frequent bugs: users complain - the sim with all the new features/stuff work flawlessly: users asking what's next ED??? next map? next module? next core upgrade? dynamic campaign? no news?? lack of transparency? pay razbam!! hawk=strike eagle?? is ED near bankrupt? you leave users in the shadows!!.... and so on ad infinitum
  4. Many postivie actions since 1996 mean nothing then.
  5. British Joint Force Harrier too!
  6. Welcome to DCS World.
  7. What does the phrase "subject to change" mean for you, as a customer?
  8. News have been out 6 hours ago, no Chinook tomorrow but other than that, things on schedule
  9. No wonder you chose that nickname
  10. You might be right, the Apache is a module I haven't bought so I didn´t follow the release.
  11. I dont´remember exactly but I think F-16 release was what changed the way of dealing with Steam DCS pre-orders. ED faced heavy criticism from users and fines from Valve. So ED adapted.
  12. Oh you might be the lucky one. Here you can read Cobra from HB himself apologising for setting an incorrect discount on Steam. Not 30, not 25, but 20%. Because yeah, for some $4 is a big drama. https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/comments/1cy820w/the_price_in_steam_is_6399_instead_of_the/
  13. You sure? Last time I checked, hb team apologized because a certain discount couldn't be applied and was looking for different options, but I'm rather positive the same % discount didn't apply for steam users
  14. I bought from zalem a vertical pedestal out of alu extrusion profile, which runs from the top of my desk, till the floor. It's about 900mm long. Two rubber bumpers go against the floor, and a quick release bracket holds against the desk. Then I can move my stick base to the height that better fits my current setup, with the chair. It was about 120e unless I'm mistaken. I also attached ww icp, ww ufc and 3 cougar mfds to that.
  15. Precisely the real A-10 got a stick shaker effect when approaching stall speed
  16. 99% positive nevada for the water layer, so it must be for rivers and lakes too
  17. Just wondering if this map not having the water/sea/ocean layer in the background, will improve its performance compare to others.
  18. Because otherwise you are living under a rock and won´t notice or read any news regarding both the DCS update patch or the map release ?¿?
  19. It´s always the same, can´t understand the drama.
  20. I have found that some presses of my stick buttons aren´t always kept, meaning that the slightest of pressure differential of my fingers, cause the stick brains to "unpress". With the Phantom lacking visual feedback for NWS on, and not always catching the hearing feedback during a critical phase of flying like taking off, with the ground roll, aircraft vibrations, burners on... I prefer not to ruin my precious available time to fly by crashing at takeoff roll hence keeping the NWS binded to a non momentary hotas switch.
  21. I bind NWS for the gray switch of my warthog throttle, the boat switch for A-10 controls.
  22. For taking off, AFCS on or off? These days I am having issues with going sideways during the takeoff roll.
  23. Cockpit got zero ergonomy. I mean zero zero. Being older than the Tomcat is truly noticeable systems wise, as you already mentioned. do you own the F-5?
  24. If that screenshot is you about to taxi, it is the correct input. For ground operations, trim is all the way forward.
