What for? To be blamed when anything is removed, like the list of features of Chinook early access release??
-
the updates or patches are far from a win-win situation for ED Patch is released, possible outcomes: - the sim becomes unplayable: users complain - the sim is playable but with frequent bugs: users complain - the sim with all the new features/stuff work flawlessly: users asking what's next ED??? next map? next module? next core upgrade? dynamic campaign? no news?? lack of transparency? pay razbam!! hawk=strike eagle?? is ED near bankrupt? you leave users in the shadows!!.... and so on ad infinitum

Long stick - floor based joystick - options?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Ski01's topic in Input Devices
I bought from zalem a vertical pedestal out of alu extrusion profile, which runs from the top of my desk, till the floor. It's about 900mm long. Two rubber bumpers go against the floor, and a quick release bracket holds against the desk. Then I can move my stick base to the height that better fits my current setup, with the chair. It was about 120e unless I'm mistaken. I also attached ww icp, ww ufc and 3 cougar mfds to that. -

Performance - Repeat of previous maps....

Just wondering if this map not having the water/sea/ocean layer in the background, will improve its performance compare to others. -

Mastering your First Phantom Flight
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Victory205's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I have found that some presses of my stick buttons aren´t always kept, meaning that the slightest of pressure differential of my fingers, cause the stick brains to "unpress". With the Phantom lacking visual feedback for NWS on, and not always catching the hearing feedback during a critical phase of flying like taking off, with the ground roll, aircraft vibrations, burners on... I prefer not to ruin my precious available time to fly by crashing at takeoff roll hence keeping the NWS binded to a non momentary hotas switch. -

I bind NWS for the gray switch of my warthog throttle, the boat switch for A-10 controls. -

For taking off, AFCS on or off? These days I am having issues with going sideways during the takeoff roll. -
Challenging / Complex for More Casual DCS Player

Cockpit got zero ergonomy. I mean zero zero. Being older than the Tomcat is truly noticeable systems wise, as you already mentioned. do you own the F-5?
