Long stick - floor based joystick - options?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Ski01's topic in Input Devices
I bought from zalem a vertical pedestal out of alu extrusion profile, which runs from the top of my desk, till the floor. It's about 900mm long. Two rubber bumpers go against the floor, and a quick release bracket holds against the desk. Then I can move my stick base to the height that better fits my current setup, with the chair. It was about 120e unless I'm mistaken. I also attached ww icp, ww ufc and 3 cougar mfds to that. -

Just wondering if this map not having the water/sea/ocean layer in the background, will improve its performance compare to others. -

Mastering your First Phantom Flight
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Victory205's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I have found that some presses of my stick buttons aren´t always kept, meaning that the slightest of pressure differential of my fingers, cause the stick brains to "unpress". With the Phantom lacking visual feedback for NWS on, and not always catching the hearing feedback during a critical phase of flying like taking off, with the ground roll, aircraft vibrations, burners on... I prefer not to ruin my precious available time to fly by crashing at takeoff roll hence keeping the NWS binded to a non momentary hotas switch. -

I concur with you here, once the dispute reached the public, it only worsened -

Again, you might be asking ED to breach a contract by stop selling, but your mind is full of rage and cant see further down the road. You are being very local while having very little info. Most contract/legal stuff between companies is invisible for customers. -

3 people at least on this page should be aware ed removing razbam modules from the store is a breach of contract. My understanding is ed must wait till razbam removes them from their own store first -

Sounds plausible to me to try to reach an agreement behind the curtains. -

For taking off, AFCS on or off? These days I am having issues with going sideways during the takeoff roll. -

Cockpit got zero ergonomy. I mean zero zero. Being older than the Tomcat is truly noticeable systems wise, as you already mentioned. do you own the F-5? -

Maybe jammed because of excess of speed? -
I bind that to a HOTAS , very convenient when the body covers panels or switches. Love the VR body, thanks Heatblur!!

I struggle with fps during ground operations at Nellis, but I understand my computer is very outdated. Once in the air, all looking good. Pitch trim feels a bit weird. I have to double check the pitch axis is not double binded, but I don´t think it is. Details, texture, 3D interior and exterior are top stuff. Taxiing with open canopy and playing with the throttles sounds and feels amazing. Waiting for SimShaker for Aviators support, it´s hard to fly without that. Steam installation was flawless, much appreciated your discount.

Let´s see what I did wrong. Edited the mission to hot start Take off, the following last minute instructions for departure. En route to WP2, FL 240. Set tacan and com 1 radio for Texaco tanker. Lousy getting some fuel, but no "transfer complete" message from tanker. I decided to cancel the refuel via radio menu Resume navigation to WP3, FL 240. What radio should I contact now?
