Generic jet settings don't work for me, for whatever reason -
Mastering your First Phantom Flight
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Victory205's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Maybe jammed because of excess of speed? -
I bind that to a HOTAS , very convenient when the body covers panels or switches. Love the VR body, thanks Heatblur!!

I struggle with fps during ground operations at Nellis, but I understand my computer is very outdated. Once in the air, all looking good. Pitch trim feels a bit weird. I have to double check the pitch axis is not double binded, but I don´t think it is. Details, texture, 3D interior and exterior are top stuff. Taxiing with open canopy and playing with the throttles sounds and feels amazing. Waiting for SimShaker for Aviators support, it´s hard to fly without that. Steam installation was flawless, much appreciated your discount.

Let´s see what I did wrong. Edited the mission to hot start Take off, the following last minute instructions for departure. En route to WP2, FL 240. Set tacan and com 1 radio for Texaco tanker. Lousy getting some fuel, but no "transfer complete" message from tanker. I decided to cancel the refuel via radio menu Resume navigation to WP3, FL 240. What radio should I contact now?

DCS F-4E Phantom II Release Date Announcement- May 21st 2024

Never happened and never will. It´s taking more than 15 years and counting to people learn this lesson. Kiowa is looking good but I dislike having high hopes or expectations. -
DCS F-4E Phantom II Release Date Announcement- May 21st 2024
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
My point being they pushed hard to meet a deadline, but failed. What I mean by "they", it´s ED or Heatblur. Or whichever software company. What you mean by "they", it´s purely "ED". Which seems quite unfair. Were you so vocal when HB delayed the F-4 last xmas? What´s more, were you so vocal when HB delayed the F-14? -

Yeah because the Phantom has never been delayed, right? -

Or maybe you could lube them, I think Andre mentioned that previously -
I just put my vkb rudders over a mfd plank. Then attach 2 shakers to the plank, 4 rubber isolators to keep the vibration out of the floor. Love them, I assign particular effects to them such ground roll, bumps,...

Seat advice for hybrid sim rig (racing/flying)
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to witwas's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
why not? or you mean the high-end ones which have some kind of upper lateral head support and most likely interfere with the natural movement of the head during flying? Also worth mention for used car seats, go to a junkyard a choose from the passenger seats, they usually have a lot of less miles than driver seats -
Just saying we all could be dead by 6-9 months. Or sick. If you can now, order now, from a shop which allows free returns. Even though you can´t ask for a refund, you won't lose much within the second market.

Thanks for your work -
Not sure about your last statement, I have DCS regular sound playing through my speakers and comms playing through the speakers from my Rift S. I choose both output from DCS audio settings. And I have checked the option "hear like in helmet". The OP precisely remarks he´s receiving comms. So I think he just needs to choose the proper output for his system

I strongly think the solution is about DCS sound settings, and it has nothing to do with the buttkicker or associated software.
