  1. ryzen 5700x3d + DDR4 3200 ram + MB 450/650 chipset ryzen 5800x3d + DDR4 3200 ram + MB 450/650 chipset ryzen 7800x3d + DDR5 6000 ram + mb 650 the thing is, despite new AMD stuff being released, 5800x3d, which used to be the sweet spot, is not lowering its price
  2. I am so sorry it took me so long to answer. That´s the one I bought, XL version https://zalem.es/inicio/622-9769-soporte-xl-de-mesa-hotas-con-mip-fa-18-hornet-edition.html#/234-color-gris/373-soporte_mfd_displays_laterales-no_incluir There is also available one which is shorter, missing the lower part where the pedestal rests at floor level. Slighty cheaper too. Zalem business is from my own country, Spain, so very convenient for low shipping fares. Customer support is quite good too. Easy to add 3 MFD supports, and the Winwing Hornet UFC and Viper ICP modules. I also attached a USB hub, and bass shaker. Very happy with the investment. Once I am done flying, I just loose the bracket, and place the pedestal by the right side of my table, to use my computer for regular desktop usage.
  3. I don´t own Kola, couldn´t compare with them. I fly both jets and helis, so Thanks for the info
  4. What are the maps with that technology? South Atlantic and Afganistan?
  5. 5800x3d it 5700x3d are still decent options, with am4 system(motherboard + ddr4 ram) being cheaper than 78003xd system
  6. But again, we could agree upgrading a texture sounds easier than upgrading map technology, right?
  7. Maybe "feature" complete is a matter of wording. For example, no cities or airports are missing. Re-working a texture, on the other hand, doesn´t sound like a feature to me, more like something able to be improved on further iterations. Let´s see.
  8. What part? if you overfly Kabul is quite different than doing it over Kandahar
  9. I don´t think campaigns break anything, more like DCS core evolves and campaigns(which are payware, remember) must work perfectly.
  10. Is so big because it's brings tons of patience for ed community managers
  11. What for? To be blamed when anything is removed, like the list of features of Chinook early access release??
  12. the updates or patches are far from a win-win situation for ED Patch is released, possible outcomes: - the sim becomes unplayable: users complain - the sim is playable but with frequent bugs: users complain - the sim with all the new features/stuff work flawlessly: users asking what's next ED??? next map? next module? next core upgrade? dynamic campaign? no news?? lack of transparency? pay razbam!! hawk=strike eagle?? is ED near bankrupt? you leave users in the shadows!!.... and so on ad infinitum
  13. Many postivie actions since 1996 mean nothing then.
  14. British Joint Force Harrier too!
  15. Welcome to DCS World.
  16. What does the phrase "subject to change" mean for you, as a customer?
  17. News have been out 6 hours ago, no Chinook tomorrow but other than that, things on schedule
  18. No wonder you chose that nickname
  19. You might be right, the Apache is a module I haven't bought so I didn´t follow the release.
  20. I dont´remember exactly but I think F-16 release was what changed the way of dealing with Steam DCS pre-orders. ED faced heavy criticism from users and fines from Valve. So ED adapted.
  21. Oh you might be the lucky one. Here you can read Cobra from HB himself apologising for setting an incorrect discount on Steam. Not 30, not 25, but 20%. Because yeah, for some $4 is a big drama. https://www.reddit.com/r/hoggit/comments/1cy820w/the_price_in_steam_is_6399_instead_of_the/
  22. You sure? Last time I checked, hb team apologized because a certain discount couldn't be applied and was looking for different options, but I'm rather positive the same % discount didn't apply for steam users
  23. I bought from zalem a vertical pedestal out of alu extrusion profile, which runs from the top of my desk, till the floor. It's about 900mm long. Two rubber bumpers go against the floor, and a quick release bracket holds against the desk. Then I can move my stick base to the height that better fits my current setup, with the chair. It was about 120e unless I'm mistaken. I also attached ww icp, ww ufc and 3 cougar mfds to that.
