This. Learn the basics of heli flight envelope, and then if you are willing to, learn complex systems like hind, apache or hokum, which are far away from the way a huey flies. They are more like small aircraft.

How do I center the view on a HP Reverb G2 in-game?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Hobo 1-1's topic in Virtual Reality
you have to map or bind that function, among other, into your Controls sections, UI layer submenu. VR zoom and VR super zoom are also very handy. I have the three of them mapped to switches of my TM Warthog throttle. -

[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Most likely engine effect at 50%. Ground roll is usually intense too. Things like flaps for Viper or wing rotation for Tomcat might be tone down because they work a lot in flight. -

Fully agree with U, why that thing has become that popular is beyond me, but of course I'm not a developer -
Fair enough you tried. Maybe the motors go from 0 to max value only under a certain amp value, so the threshold is very limited or virtually nonexistent, like on-off rumbling motors. The info you expect, I don´t know any device able to provide that. Maybe 6DOF platforms, but that´s a whole different animal, especially the pricetag. The arduino and rumble motors is the way we use for simracing and especially pedals for TC and ABS for example using free software SimHub, but no idea how you can transfer that to flight sims. Interestengly enough, SimHub supports War Thunder.
