the dirt is a real problem in the cockpit. you can easily loose sight to a possible target or wrongly interpret a spot of dirt as a target ... if i was a real pilot in this real plane i'd clean it up a bit ...

Hi Flycats2! Thank you for your interest. Usually it works by switching into our discord voice channel - if you are online there you want to fly. Everybody else in our group who is interested in flying as well will see you and join you - easy as that. At the moment our main flight times are at about 20h - 23h utc - but this varies a bit. If you're interested please don't hesitate and check our site (and infos about modules etc.) and just hop on our discord - you can try for yourself and see if it works for you!

how did you get the whole construction to wife-approval? :noexpression: how big is the construction itself for the projectors and image frame? is it movable or fixed in a "dedicated simulator room"?

do you know when a possible patch for the release version will arrive - fixing the mig canopy glass? at the moment - with all the new bugs inside it - having a good view from the mig is worth the openbeta version ;) so i am very sad to not being able to join the server ....

from my view the trim is working now ... or working much faster i used to trim the machine on the taxiway ... by holding the trim ... on my last start of the viggen the trim was set way further up than usual, which lead to a hard climb on startup - without doing anything ...

But it would be great to have some good templates. Since this is a popular plane it would make sense ... ;)

also einmal mein gestell selbst und die ps-eye zugeklebt JA es ist nicht professionell - aber wenns nur blöd aussieht, aber funktioniert, dann ists nicht blöd! :D

Die PSeye hab ich mit Tixo abgeklebt. Dort hab ich die erste schicht blau angemalt (Edding) und die zweite schicht Tixo rot. In den PSeye Treibern kannst du auch Farben rausfiltern und den Gain etc. einstellen. Ich hab herumgespielt und mir die Farben rausgefiltert bis ich ein vernünftig nutzbares Bild hatte -> funktioniert super! Schaut zwar nicht aus wie ein echtes TrackIR, das Ergebnis ist aber sehr präzise und im Sim perfekt verwendbar. Verwende hier FaceTrackNoIR mit Pointtrackern ps: die Diskette war bei mir zu dunkel, ich hab nicht genug Licht aus den IR Leds rausbekommen daß das genügt hätte.

and what will happen now? I mean it is a module available on the shop site ... is ed thinking about taking over the support for this module? or heatblur? it would just be fair for the owners of this module

this is a pretty good proposal! it is worth trying ... i would recommend to disable the gps as well. in case of ww2 this kind of map-navigation would be much more immersive combined with srs this would be really sweet! :D

from personal expierience the acg cold war server (or similar servers) have plenty of missions perfectly suitable for the viggen. they even have a special mission for anti-ship operations on this setting the viggen really shines! sincer there are only older aircrafts allowed, the viggen is also capable to use as dogfighter - not perfect but you get your kills ;)

I know you excluded the viggen before - but if i may - i could recommend this plane for you. it is really easy to fly. you don't need to push that many buttons to get it started. navigation is very easy due to its radar / computer system weapon system is easy as well, you just need to get used to it ;) and most of all: its in metric system! judging from bugs of the module, the viggen doesn't have that much. And you can use it on the ACG Cold War server pretty good as capable dogfighter and as even better ground attack plane. and this little thing is very fast!!

and if so - would this possible mod be usable in multiplayer ?

if you want, you can take a look on out site (below).... we're flying mig21, mostly on acg cold war server, so it would be best to buy this one - but the mig21 is far away from being bug free at least it is a bit cheaper ;)

from my point of view teamspeak isn't attractive in dcs. judging from acg cold war server, srs is a much better suitable - and much more immersive - communication tool. i believe in ww2 servers, such as the burning skies server, it would fit good as well.
