thanks Rtyer, i know of those init scripts / i use them regularly. my request was about that heatblur includes the functionality by default to the exports. i just don't want to have to update my scripts every update of dcs you know ;)

Are you airborne when you try to switch it on ? is it warmed up?

oh you can export it to your second screen the only issue is you need to change some init files for the radar / mav / nav / ... it works pretty good but you keep in mind to reinstall it after every update (use a mod updater maybe) the only issue is, the mav sight moves as you move your head, so it is not useable on second screen i would recommend to leave it be and only export the radar, this makes sense

in reality of course it isn't ... in dcs it is possible! ;) but i admit it is pretty hard to do, since the reverser doesn't brake you the same as a hook :D i wouldn't recommend doing this on a server where f18s are waiting for landing on the carrier :music_whistling:

however, does nobody else face this issue? If i use an airstarted plane the net and the piper is there, if i start if from ground it isn't

can confirm ... viggen is able to land on a carrier - and is able to start again from carrier ... even turning around on the carrier is possible due to thrust reverser :D

i don't believe the requirements for voice chats is a problem. in my view voice add much to the immersion of the flights in MP, especially srs unfortunately many servers offer "discord + srs + teamspeak - join our voice" ... yeah - like what now? discord or srs or teamspeak? or all of it at the same time? that is a problem ... if server hosters could stick to one solution i'd be happy (especially with srs) nobody is forced to talk, but listening helps very much - especially if someone is doing the gci role!

did take some time (was a bit occupied) unfortunately i did not find any option to activate or deactivate this. could you be so kind and tell me where exactly i should find such an option ? does it work for you or aren't you using it ?

no solution, but i have the same issue. the exports work for the a10c and the mig21 ... but unfortunately not for the m2000... i just see the radar screen when i am in external view, which ... makes not that much sense ;)

true, it is a real problem. i followed a dirt dot a couple of minutes, thinking it is a distant plane ....

i had the exact same behaviour last night in my mig21. i followed the steps as usual, but this time no pipper or grid. fortunately the missile sound worked, so at least i was able to shoot missiles.

I would say if one is working, why not the other thing as well? The radar Screen would be the bigger issue for me though...

You are absolutely right - personal reasons. But in case of every Mig21 user, OB is more or less mandatory - you cannot see out of the cockpit in release version. Unfortunately the best server fot this plane is just not in OB (ACG cold war). If the versions are again on the same level, and maybe the Mig just got the mandatory updates, maybe i'll go for release version, just to be on this server. Otherwise I'll need some new server to fly this thing in a fitting setting ....

possible, but i'd prefer a natively implemented solution, thats why i'm asking ;)
