I'm saying IRL the controls have text labels but they are not present in DCS.

Thanks @MYSE1234! Intersting, so is your conclusion that BK90 is underperforming in DCS?
-
Some really good updates! Have only flown 30 minutes yet but this looks solid. I also noticed that the black smoke is finally gone when using AB Btw, the cockpit and HUD brightness are much better now!

After update to 2.7 I noticed that AJS 37 Viggen doesn't have any G-effects anymore. The other effects in Viggen seem to be there (didn't confirm all though). I also flew the Mirage and there the G-effects were intact. Strange, just thought I give you a heads up. -
Praise and honor to you @widen76 Excellent work so far! Keep it up!

*** AI J-35 Draken AI coming to DCS World!! ***
frosen replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Nice! I was also visiting Heeresgeschichtliches Museum in Vienna in 2019, great museum if one like militaria and European military history. As you saw they also had a Swedish J 29 Flying Barrel outside, another favorite of mine. Austria has actually operated five different SAAB aircraft types, B 17, J 29, Saab 105 (SK 60), Saab Safir and J 35. -
I also got this situation with the SI/HUD leaning/tilting. But in hindsight I didn't follow the instructions on how you actually should fly this aircraft. Taken from the official flight manual, it says that more than one roll at a time is not permitted and that you should avoid using rudder during quick roll. When I got this problem I had made multiples rolls at a time (with and without rudder). I don't know if this is the actual cause (and if HB actually have modeled it that way or if it's by coincidence) but at least it's officially stated that one shouldn't fly the airplane like I did when I experienced this problem.

This one is cool as well! I think this was a unique paint scheme for the J 35 Draken to mimic the AJ 37 Viggen standard paint job. -

I thought this was going to come before the A-6 AI but who knows... -

Thanks! I reinstalled SSA and reapplied the exception on my anti virus and then it worked -

Yes, SimShaker Sound Module works (When I push the test button, it vibrates). Attached are the screenshot although I still suspect that the error is connected to Windows 10 security settings (which I hadn't changed until I suddenly got this error) ref the second screenshot. Ps. I use your IL-2 software without any problems. -

Sorry, meant "Sound Module Application". I assume it's referring to SimShaker Sound Module. -

Hi, been away some months and fired up DCS for the first time since September. Got this error (which I got back in September as well but managed to solve - check second link!). However, now I'm at a loss of what to do to fix this. If I just click "Continue" it starts up but it can't find Sound Module Application (which is working, I have tested that separately). All help appreciated! Thanks Error: Previous solution: -
This is much better! Glad you came to your senses.

Why is this stuff still a sticky thread?
-
You got to be kidding ED! This is just a mess, don't even know where to start.... just give us the old one back.

Suddenly, I also got this error message with "Unhandled exception" related to .NET. To my knowledge I haven't fiddled around with anything regarding this. I recently got a windows update though so it wouldn't surprise me if that f*cked up something. I have reinstalled the program to no avail and also tried to change permissions to admin but turned out the program already had all permissions. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Good work with the anti collision lights and the navigation lights! Unfortunately the taxi light still doesn't work and now not formation and position lights either... :(
-
Thanks Cobra! As a Viggen customer (I don't have the F-14) it feels good that you pop in here and talk to us every once in a while. What about the J 35? I hope that is first in line before A-6 and some other F-14 promises.
-
It unfortunately seems to be some light bugs with the current OB patch for Viggen. - Anti coll light reflects on the inside of the fuselage (air intakes and engine) - Taxi lights and emergency lights don't work While I'm at it, the navigation lights seem way too bright, even on Halv and the anti coll light has always looked to dim to me if you compare with real videos.

What about the J 35 Draken? Is it coming before the A-6?
-
I agree! They are way too weak and have always been. It's kind of a turn off when you look at the aircraft from an external view.
