Until today I have always used the fast release button for countermeasure release. But when I fiddled around a bit with the "Countermeasure Dispense - Press" buttons I found some bugs. "Countermeasure Dispense - Press: Int Release: Kont" Works as intended but also triggers the Akan sound. "Countermeasure Dispense - Press: Kont Release: Int" Works as intended but also triggers a massive clicking sound that is also heard from outside the plane. "Countermeasure Dispense - Toggle" Works but always reverts back to the physical Kont position (towards the back of the plane...don't forget to fix the graphics on this one too). It doesn't matter if you use a keybind or click the button. Thanks

Would appreciate if you finally can fix the textures of this one. I always forget how to turn the switch without the proper labeling the times I actually mount the countermeasure pod.

F/A-18C Dynamic Campaign: Battle Group Delta
frosen replied to MBot's topic in Missions and Campaigns
You need to align the INS and update it. See page 3 or 4 in this thread for instructions. But free from memory: After the normal alignment, select Wpt 0 then press WPTDSG. Then press DSG, UPD and ACPT. Now you should get the map in the HSI as confirmation that you did it right. -
F/A-18C Dynamic Campaign: Battle Group Delta
frosen replied to MBot's topic in Missions and Campaigns
MBot you are too good! :D This is an excellent campaign. I love the debriefing and score tables. I hope ED do their dynamic campaign along the same lines. -
He seems to care a lot about his looks because he must be wearing a corset or something with that extremely thin waist... :D

Thanks for your reply. It's "one click only" currently... after that you can't click it anymore. And I am on the latest open beta.

Yeah, I tried it and got super confused with all the key bindings and the cockpit button and couldn't get anything intelligent from it either... One wonders if they actually test things before they push them out :dunno: I'm sorry to say but I have turned a little sour about this whole thing... I get flashbacks to when Cobra announced that they had implemented the new PBR textures and the RAT. Someone then asked why they couldn't see them and got a nonsense answer back and then we didn't hear anything about it for a year.

Good stuff Baltic Dragon! Thanks a bunch!

Ditto! I voted lysbomb but RK4 sounds really cool now that I know what it is :)

Nice!

Great to see Cobra the head honcho commenting on Viggen again! :)

As already stated, the maps are upside down (they should be readable when you sit in the cockpit). Also, the Swedish pilots usually only have one kneefolder with map. The other is for checklist or/and scribble pad. I suggest you delete one map and add the checklist function like on the F/A-18 for example :)

[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
frosen replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Just bought a Buttkicker Gamer 2. I have some questions that maybe some of you can help me with. My buttkicker seems to work fine out of the box just connecting it without software but of course I want to maximize the potential of the system. So, Is it SSA I should download or anything else? Can I use SSA with buttkicker as is or do I need to buy the SimShaker Sound Module? Or is it something else I should get instead? Many thanks! -
This is kind of annoying for such a fine INS system... Is this bug confirmed by Razbam?
-
Did we just get a new campaign for M2000 in the hotfix? :D

Heatblur Development Update - Thunder & Cat
frosen replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
That is very much true! :) However, Cobra "promised" to get Viggen out of EA before end of 2018 also. This thread, started by Cobra, is to some extent an answer on that non delivered promise. -
Heatblur Development Update - Thunder & Cat
frosen replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Do HB have one shot left to keep their promise on getting Viggen out of EA before 2020? Today is 4 December and next open beta should be on 18 December, right? -
I don't think anyone of your clients got that joke. The "out-of-EA" is already one year overdue so I hope you can understand our jumpiness.

I agree with the previous statements in this thread. "Working on next module" shouldn't be an option here. No offense, but you RagnarDA seems to be the only bugfixer for Viggen and you started this thing with the announcement "Watch me (try to) fix/investigate something in the Viggen!". Then that is what you should do. It's pretty annoying that we need to fight in this forums to actually get people to finish what they've already started/promised before moving on to new projects. It's like telling your kid not to drag out new toys before he has tidied up his Lego that is all over the floor...

JA 37 Viggen in the future? PLEASE make it happend!
frosen replied to DarkStar79's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I'll second that! :D -
IronMike et al; I hope you don't get fed up with us. There's always someone complaining about something but I would say the majority of us are extremely happy of what you bring to this community in terms of quality and deliverables. Of course I also want to get the stuff sooner than later but if it weren't for you we wouldn't have the Viggen in the first place :)

Man I would love to try to land that on a carrier! :joystick: So steep glide path, high angle of attack and such vobly and unstable landing gear
