  1. Ok my Report 1. Start of mission takeoff airfield i had fps below 40 until i got in the air. Once linked up with friendlies and gaining altitude fps was 70-80 2. When b17 spawn in i noticed it without even looking at fps, was a slight stutter then looked at fps and had gone from 80 to 40. 3. Once the 190 and such spawned in was still sitting around 40. 4. I think this is the bugger, when the flak positions where in visual range and started firing the fps dropped to mid 20's. So that hurt right there. Fps was fine enough for the dogfight until flak came into the picture. 5. Midway through the engagement i was shot down but my following observations where both pre ejection and post. 1b. Frame rate in low mid 20s 2b. Once ejected i was watch the fight. Curious thing i noticed was when i did not have the flak positions in view my fps went back to 80. But when looking at flack positions from both first person view from parachute and or f2 of aircraft the fps dropped down to mid 20's again and fluctuate from that to 40. 3b. so when not looking at direction of flak emplacements fps went back to 80 i use Rift s. PS i opened and flew the mission from the mission editor. :thumbup:

  4. Reminds me of time in military, mass punishment due to one persons lack of performance. Take my humble vote and release what is ready therefore other bigger enhancements will be tested by a bigger populace while they play catchup.....:thumbup:
  5. ill give it a shot today and report back. Be flying it in the Rift S as it gets better performance than WMR for me. Crom
  6. I use the vr controllers, its faster and develop better muscle memory. Plus it really draws you into the pit moving your hands where they actually go. Before people ask, the vr controllers sit in my lap or on the table in front of me. 98 percent of the time i just use the left hand as set throttle and click whatever you need to in flight with that hand and maintaining flight with right hand on stick. Depends on the Module...:thumbup:

  8. Depends on size of your face and iPd, since my iPd is just lower than 63.5 my fov is actually bigger.

  10. Misinformation there bud. Most of us have bought the Rift s and are blown away by it. Most who have issues are outside the ipd range. Kicks the OD+ butt big time.
  11. Odyssey + user here. The rift s I now only use is much better image quality and performance compared to the +. Did not expect this but was blown away by it. Resolution is not the key factor. Subpixels and lens tech is. Atleast in this case it is.
  12. That is the issue no communication on it either way. We the customer can just go off ugra past endeavors with dcs world and that’s Normandy. I hope this is a thing listed on the store page whenever this map is in the pre sale phase....
  13. Dburne same thing here with computer off the white lights remain on the controllers. With the WMR controllers they died quick I mean didn’t even last a day. Oculus rift s controllers so far have lasted much longer, though agree the CV1 controllers lasted forever. I’m thinking for a interim fix just pull the batteries out while not using computer.

  17. Reverb is cool and all but you will take a step back with that in regards to performance and crappy WMR piping through steam VR witch screws your frame times and ruins the experience even more. Oculus software is better and a much streamlined experience. My OD+ is collecting dust...

  19. I run pd 1.3 and at 1.5 miles from boat I can fly the ball... works for me and my iPd and eyes:thumbup:

  21. rift s is much more vibrant compared to cv1. I’d say almost as vibrant as odyssey +
  22. No issues here if anything it’s better in the rift s for me. Make sure in game iPd is set so the cockpit is realistic size and not micro machine size.
  23. Yes maybe, so normally with all our joysticks and accessories we generally tap out the power on the usb hubs. So when I had this problem I got an external usb hub that’s powered of a power supply plugged into wall. This remedied power issue with usb side. So for you I would unplug all joysticks for now unplug rift and restart. One at desktop plug rift in again and let the computer basically reissue usb order if you will with out plugging anything else in try the rift in dcs or whatever is causing the issue. If that helps then ya get a external usb hub or one you put into slot but I recommend external as it will be powered from wall and not computer.
  24. My guess would be faulty power supply linking to the usb hub, as the rift is a pretty significant power draw off the usb. Tried unplugging all other usb connections? Just run the rift and see?
