Here’s a assumption. It won’t be fixed until new damage model is out along with the other work they are doing on engine cooling and such. That’s my guess as there really is no other good reason for it to still be broken. It makes campaigns and missions not even worth flying at the moment.

I use the beta branch of oculus, are you using beta or was this a stable update to oculus? Ill check today as it seemed like performance was alittle off last night.

Check your ego. Mr expert who has flown every aircraft..... point is the sound scape sucks with these airframes and needs improvement. Mimic what heatblur does....

so did the german pilots flying this airframe in WW2 have these elevator trim tabs? If so i would think to be historically accurate they should be on the airframe in this sim? If not then...not. Kind of simple.?

Disclaimer, just woke up and drinking coffee, have done no research... Yesterday taking on a sa-15/tor it was mobile and it seems the Harm impacts at the point of original Lock on tgt. So i assume it cant get a moving tgt? Or is this a result of its in accuracy

Sounds like its even worse for night flying compared to the CV1. Reverb sounds the same also granted nice high resolution it has bad color and image quality throughout the spectrum

Ah so you have worn this new headset? Resolution sounds great, picture quality does not. Surprised that the ipd range is such a low range and that anything outside that range seems it will be a blurry uncomfortable mess. All for resolution, but if the picture thats presented to your eyes is uneven and colors are off no thanks.

That and the Mura, and overall uneven picture sounds bad. Especially both these headsets sound like crap for night flying with the actual presentation of the image. Bummer

What exactly does facebook have to do with the Rift exactly? How does it effect the usage with dcs world or anything for that matter?

Those pictures show nothing. They are not your eyeballs. Of course Reverb has higher resolution and would hope its better image. Phone pictures are not the way to judge this period.:doh:

that or to get playable fps turning the graphics down to atari mode lol

RGR, thats the way i see it, i could get the reverb but would be frustrated with the low graphics settings in order to get good performance with a 1080ti.. No way would i buy a 2080ti for 1400+ dollars right now. So ill check out the Rift S.

rgr maybe its the low texture settings then, i run both those high and dont have the issue. Or maybe its a bug with the draw distance of certain vehicles and or buildings. Ill go fly some today and pay more attention.
