Thank you! I copied that back into my modified fille. Does anyone know what value causes what? I now modified the glass reflectivity to make it more shiny (as with the original values it looks like it has an antireflective coating) and though that worked OK it's pretty much a shot in the dark...

Das Problem ist 'reported', aber wer weiss, wie lange eine Lösung noch dauern wird. Derzeit schlicht ein Geduldsspiel und etwas, womit man leben muss... Die Gazelle ist für mich de facto unspielbar. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=227646 Gerne das Problem noch mal dort beschreiben, damit alles an einem Platz ist.

Copy/paste should work as I didn't alter any values so those are original anyway (just cut away unnecessary baggage...). Not sure what you mean by mod structure; just gave it the same folders as in the original (Bazar\World\Shapes\)

What it does do, however, is to negate the fix for window reflections that was introduced a while back (and which, IIRC, led to the shiny skins). Then I just use OvGME and am set.

From what I see in the .lua of the standard army skin, the cutlasses only get used when the Huey has weapon stations (so not in the [civ] part of the .lua); you can edit that accordingly.

Not related to clouds in my experience. Rather reflections of the sun. Will there be any fix in the near future? It is pretty annoying...

Thank you Mustang for your continued updates! Out of curiosity, what don't you like about 1.18? I just tested 1.24 and somehow still prefer 1.18. As you say personal preferences but I'm just wondering. Didn't notice any difference in FPS, either. For me the many little lines (erosion? foot paths?) of 1.18 make the difference and somehow make the map 'alive' to me - I can nearly see the farmer riding his tractor there :megalol: Just wait for the cows, I'll probably sprinkle them along those paths... -
Now this is a plane I'm looking forward to! I hope there will be an option to remove the sight? It looks rather cumbersome when I just want to fly around.

Did that someone by any chance hint at how to fix this? I'm sure several people might not be above modding it themselves should it really be simple :music_whistling: Unless it's simple but not accessible by mods that is.

Not for me, unfortunately. In the changelog, it says: VR: One eye image blinks when water set to High is fixed. I don't use VR and the problem i see never was alleviated by water settings low/medium. I still see the flickering as in previously posted examples.

When aiming at enemy bombers, the Kdo.Ger.40 faces in the opposite direction, the model needs to be rotated by 180 degrees. In the first photo, you see the bombers in the background, the 8.8 cm facing towards, the Kdo.Ger. away from the bombers (all optics facing yourself). In the second pic, the bombers have overflown the Flak, now the optics of the Kdo.Ger. point away from yourself and you see the little step for the operator. Third picture is a historic one, the soldier in the middle is standing on the step to use the main optics.

Not possible to rearm/change weapons while engines running

Hi, though I don't own the Mi-8 I've seen a friend of mine rearm it several times with engines running, so I asked him about that. He told me that a switch has to be put on ICS (intercom) and then you don't need to wind down the engines. Below a photo as an example, don't worry about the arrows, those are not mine but you can see the 'ICS' he's talking about. Give it a try. -

Interesting. For me, there is flickering when you see the sun reflection on the rotating propeller. When I move the view so that the sun reflection is not on the propeller or I stop the propeller the flickering stops. With the Gazelle, the flickering starts as soon as I switch on the battery. Again some tracks but it seems to be different for different people.

The Gazelle track in the first post of this thread still shows the flickering quite well for me. Here is another one for the Fw 190 (flicker seen in outside view). Both are instant action missions.
